I really liked this cleaver and does a great job on Chicken bones. It is heavy enough to do most of the work for you but not too heavy to lift. It’s much more satisfying to take apart a chicken yourself instead of buying a fryer cut up,. The meat justs taste fresher and you have a little more control on size of the pieces. This cleaver does what it needs too. My husband uses it on ribs as well and has no complaints!

First, I love the size of this cleaver, it fits perfectly in my hand and feel comfortable when I am using. Some larger cleavers, do not feel Iike I have good control of the knife, but this size does. Second, this is a tremendous value on the knife due to the German steel, made in Spain and ice-hardeing process. The three together create a durable and super sharp knife, that will retain its sharpness for a longer time than most other knives.
