I pull this knife out every time I have to cut up something that I think a chef’s knife would be overkill for, which I am finding is more and more items, such as apples, oranges, garlic, or strawberries. I love that the blade is thin, so that I can take the stem off of strawberries without taking off a bunch of the sweet fruit. The handle is super comfortable and I liove the fact that this is made in Spain, rather than China, like a lot of the other knives in this price range.

Middle length and weight good for working with fish, poultry, and some veggies. So sharp. Holds its edge.

This is a great skinnier blade than having to use a chef. I like that it’s not as long as a carving knife, and that I can get closer slices.

Good craftsmanship, sharp cutting edge. Would prefer the handle wasn’t so square; not very ergonomic.

When an 8″ chef knife is too big then grab this 6″ utility. My Mom felt like an 8″ blade was too big, so I got her this knife. It’s a perfect little knife for cutting up small vegetables, fruits and herbs, works well on slicing up a chicken breast too. The handle is small, but has a nice weight. The blade is very sharp and holds it’s edge really well. Ya can’t go wrong with the Classic line; made of German steel, forged (helps it stay sharp) but made in Spain which gets that awesome price!

These are great knives and I particularly like the handles. I buy them for my BIL to complete his block but I get to use them, too. Love them!

Wanted a knife that was comfortable to work with. This knife is a perfect weight for me and is very well balanced. Use it for almost everything in the kitchen. Stays nice and sharp and is easy to maintain. Great price for German high carbon steel!

I’ve been wanting this size knife for awhile. I had no idea how much I would love it! I reach for it all the time – cutting veggies -bok choy, String Beans – and fruit- apples etc. Strong and slimmer than other Utility knives, it’s very easy to use. I already have Classic 6″ Chef Knife and Classic 8″ Utility/Slicing Knife and the 5″ Four Star Serrated Knife (which I love) and 4″ Pro S paring knife. I’ve had good experience with Classic line. I also bought Four Star 6″ Utility knife but it’s not my favorite (bigger blade). Totally needed this 6″ knife size in my collection!

This is the sharpest knife I’ve ever owned. I love the size of it and the handle feels very comfortable in my hand. It’s my go-to knife every day. I think that it’s just perfect in every way. I love it so much I just bought another one for my sister.

This 6″ knife is a good alternative to a chef for small tasks. I use it to slice meat and root veggies for stes and it does what I need and then some. It is a good size for cutting up fruit too.

This 6″ utility knife is very sharp and has a very comfortable handle. The bolster is long enough that it protects your fingers. This is a great value option since it is made in Spain.

Many people have grown up using this type of knife for all their cooking. If this knife looks familiar to you, then you cannot go wrong with the quality and workmanship. It’s called a utility knife because it can get lots of things done in your kitchen. It will slice fruits, vegetables and meats easily. I have used it to peel melons very efficiently. Its length and shape is comfortable to many people, my husband included.I really like my Henckels Classic knives. I’ve had mine for 20 years. These are forged knives made of quality steel. They have a triple riveted handle, a comfortable integrated bolster. Even if they aren’t made in Germany, the steel is, and their quality is unquestionable.
