This Santoku Japanese for “three virtues” excels at three cutting techniques: expertly mince garlic, slice cucumber and dice onions with this Asian all-rounder.

This is a great knife for the price! I love how it has the ovals on the sides so that the food doesn’t stick and I don’t get a bunch of vegetables falling off the blade all at the same time. I love how this knife is made in Spain, unlike most of the other knives in this price range that come from China. The handle is such a beautiful classic look and I would recommend this knife to anyone!

A Classic 7″ Hollow Edge Santoku knife is for an Asian chef knife. It is perfect for a cook who rather likes chopping motion than rocking and gliding knife, this knife is great for mincing, dicing and chopping herbs. It looks great, it feels great in my hand, and it cuts great! This is durable, fully forged construction blade that provides balance and Spanish-made knife. This 7″ Asian style Santoku knife is excellent in cutting large food, meat, vegetables and fruits. It is dishwasher safe. Perfect gifting for young chef.

This is the perfect size for use in a home kitchen, not too little and not too big. The handle is very nice to hold and my hand does not get tired when I have a lot of chopping to do.

Feels good in my hand and slices cleanly. I have bad knife skills but I feel like I can cut at a much higher level now

I have been using my Henckels Classic knives for years. This is the first addition I’ve purchased and I am super happy with it. I love the quality of the forged German Steel. This Japanese design is super sleek and sharp. My slices are thinner and straighter than ever. The traditional handle is as comfortable as ever.

This Classic santoku blade is really great quality for an excellent price. The santoku is great for jobs like mincing and chopping and the hollow edge divets help to guide food up and off of the blade while cutting. I really like the weight of the Classic knives and the handles make it extra comfortable.

I use this Santoku instead of the traditional chef knife. I find that it is lighter weight, sharper, and the hollow edges keeps food from sticking. It’s nice to use a Japanese style knife, made by a German company. Definitely getting the best of both worlds.

My daughter uses this knife on a regular basis. the 7″ blade is perfect for beginners and those intimidated by the larger 8″ knife. It’s pretty light weight which is also a plus for her.Great for chopping and slicing.

Happy with it so far—replaces the signature level from swilling that was junk.

This santoku is a great value. I was looking for a santoku that was a value line for a gift and this was perfect! It isn’t made in China, instead it is made in Spain, so I felt better about purchasing it. Will definitely get more of these as gifts in the future!

The classic line is made from German steel and even fully forged. The santoku is great for vegetate prep and can go through the toughest of vegetables. It is a great addition to a 8″ chef.

I have smaller hands so this is super comfortable in my hand. It’s not too heavy. Super sharp. Great for food prep. The dimples help prevent food from sticking.

I use this knife for so many tasks in the kitchen but especially when I need to chop, slice or dice. The Santoku is one of my choice blade styles because one kife can accomplish so many tasks. The hallowed out sections on the knife keep whatevery you are slicing, dicing, or cutting, off of your knife. That means no sticking and veggies stay on the cutting board and not your knife.
