Swapped the original RAID from my 2010 Mac Pro after Yosemite update. Painless. Performs flawlessly.

Painless, easy install and full performance after installing Mac OS 10.10.4 – and loosing my original RAID controller. It was really nice to see my drives back on the desktop, and fully functional. 2010 Mac Pro.

I am a full service video/film small business. I was upgrading from an older Win7 system to a brand new computer running Win10. There were no Win10 drivers for my old card so I had to get the new 2722. Actually the install was extremely easy – driver install was a breeze. The whole install took maybe 10 minutes. I use it with a 6Gb/s backbone 8-drive RAID 5 enclosure by ProAvio. The 2722 even seems to give me slightly faster performance…or maybe its just the newer machine and Win10. Nonetheless…no disappointments – works great.

Works like a charm in a MacPro Tower 3,1. Make sure to download HighPoint’s latest driver for Mac and the GUIWeb App. This card is pretty much a revision of the RocketRAID 2322 except it will work beyond MacOS Lion. The most difficult part of the install was trying to locate the Mac driver on HighPoint’s website. I have (8) 1TB drives in RAID 5 reading and writing on average of 600-700MB/sec.

Piece of cake! I’m running a GSpeed eS Pro & LTO4 off this card… 1. install the card 2. download the most current driver & raid mgmt software 3. activate the drive in Windows disc management 4. use RR2722 software to create your array 5. your done.

I purchased this controller card to replace my RR2223 after upgrading my operating system to Yosemite. This raid card works perfectly and recognised my existing 8GB raid array. No loss of data, no reformatting – just plug and play. Simple process, just how it should be.

Sure it works well, but as soon as you have an issue, HighPoint disregards your requests for help and technical assistance. They do not have any phone support which is really unacceptable in 2017.

needed to get this as our older 2322 no longer supported in OS X 10.x. uninstalled old drivers, installed latest from website, shutdown and installed new card, rebooted, saw existing array immediately, back to work.
