Compatible with Windows, Mac, and Linux, the SSD7180 PCIe 3.0 x16 8-Channel U.2 NVMe RAID Controller from HighPoint features eight internal SFF-8643 Mini-SAS ports that support up to eight 2.5″ U.2 NVMe SSDs, which allow it to be integrated into custom-built hardware environments. The SSD7180 has a low-profile form factor, supports RAID 0, 1, 10, and Single, and well as transfer speeds up to 14,000 MB/s. It maintains cool operations using an aluminum heatsink and an intelligent fan that activates when needed. Thanks to a Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) rating of 920,585 hours, it will have a long operational life.
