This is the first self feed spade bit I have used. What an improvement over standard spade/paddle bits.It is the screw spiral at the tip of the bit that makes them self feed. I can’t say these particular bits are better than other self feed spades as I have only bored maybe 10 holes with one of these.. They are made in China. I was hoping the Hilti bits would not be made there.
