Description
The Hilti PM 30 Multi-line laser with 3 green 360° lines is ideal for plumbing, leveling, aligning and squaring. Powered by a rechargeable 12-Volt lithium-Ion battery, this laser allows up to 1.5-days of continuous layout work. The product is self-leveling to within typically approximately. 4.0 in. all directions. Self-leveling time is about 3-seconds. Applications include setting out drywall tracks on floors, walls, ceiling and transferring reference heights.

To be clear, this is for the Hilti PM 30-MG. This is a very strong “plane” laser. I had used someone’s on an exterior application and was impressed with the range AND accuracy. There are, however, better and sharper plane lasers on the market, just not at this price point. We use many different types of lasers, this one was specifically bought for it’s “squaring” (two simultaneous vertical planes perpendicular to one another) ability. The re-chargeable (nice feature) battery has an unusual life for a green laser. 360 deg. planes are an added feature. At $589 + accessories this is a Professional tool, not your Home Owner variety, but the Hilti line is the only Pro line HD sells and from what I could find, this, a HD exclusive. Fits a standard 1/4 x 20 male thread tripod mount.The only down side to this laser is that it does not come with a battery, charger, or laser card. They can be purchased separately, and with the exception of the laser card, quite reasonably. Charger – Internet #207131874 Model # 2076996 $38; Battery – Internet #207045270 Model # 2077977 $36 (buy two); Laser Card – Internet #305857740 Model # 226976 $34I found the Bosch Tripod, Internet #204192288 Model # BT 150 Store SKU #1000046519 Store SO SKU #1000734478 to be a much better value at $34.30 v.
