The new 14 in. 700X 70 CC Hand Held Gas Saw from Hilti is setting the standard in handheld saws. this should have come with a small bottle of hilti oil mix and the correct connector to hook to water hose. I am sure this is because home depot would like us the buy the premix fuel they sell in the can.

This started out working OK but then it just stopped on the first day that we used it. When we rented the same machine in the past, its been great. When we brought it back to the store, they said they would repair it but then they just issued a credit and processed a return. We’ll try again.

I like the saw but you would think that if you were spending $1000 on a saw they could at least give you the connector for the garden hose. Now I have to go drive 30 minutes so I can use my saw.

Saw worked fine. They don’t send the coupler you need to hook saw to hose. No info about it. Wasted a work day driving all over town trying to find coupler. Turns out you can buy them in lawnmower dept. Why can’t they send a $10 part with a $1000 saw??? NOT HAPPY!!!

I’ve always heard Hilti is quality stuff. The reputation is well deserved. This saw starts easily every time, and runs out strong. This saw is quite heavy but the attached guide wheels take the work out of sawing and make for very straight cuts. I am very happy with this purchase.
