   I got these last year and loved them. The box says indoor but we put them on the porch. The light worked at first, then stopped. I still like them.

   It’s a great decoration but the batteries don’t last very long. I converted to electrical with an led bulb and now they look great. Overall a fine decoration that they will now proudly go into my display. Need more.

   Well this is fun. It’s made out of plastic. The yellow bulb part is hollow plastic, the bulb base and hook are also plastic and screws off of the bulb. The battery compartment and LED light are contained in the green base. You have to use a small screw driver to get into the battery compartment which takes 3 AA’s. The bulb does not look to be replaceable, (boo.) Instructions say for indoor use only, (double boo.) I suspect it’s not waterproof or UV resistant. Of course batteries don’t function well in freezing temperatures anyway. I’d still hang it outside in nice weather temporarily. The hook fits over a shepherd hook, and the ornament is lightweight enough to hang from outdoor umbrella tines. Probably most appropriate for party displays. Preset timer 6 hours on and 18 hours off. You cannot change the timer setting but you can turn it off and on any time you want. Definitely not high end but is fairly bright and looks cool from a distance. Reasonably priced for size and quality. If the bulb goes you can always stuff it with fairy string lights. The hook part does have a little flex to it. Left the tags on in pics as I picked these out for my sister’s Christmas basket. (She likes blue and yellow.) Shhh, don’t tell her.

   I would recommend Home Accents Holiday Light Up Christmas Blue Ornament. Lots of colors to choose from, this one is Bright Blue. LED lighting is very bright and festive. It will look great for Christmas. Easy to use and set up, it comes with 3 triple A Batteries included. Just push the button on the top and it sets the timer for 6 hours on and 18 hours off. No plug in cord needed. 13″ is the full size of the Light. Easy hook on the top to hang the ball up with.

   These are pretty when lit but the batteries (new batteries installed by me) only lasted about 3 nights at 6 hrs each. Also, UPS lost 2 of them so I was missing (and still am) 2 but that isn’t HD’s fault. Last years plugins are better than this years battery ops.

   This is one big blue ornament! I use this for mood lighting in the bedroom rather than a decorative ornament. Make sure you read the directions! When I first opened this up and looked at it I saw the “on/off” switch inside the bulb, meaning you have to remove the “bulb” to get to the base that has the switch on it. At first I was disappointed because I thought that was how you turned it on and off. Actually by turning this on you then use the push button at the top of the ornament to turn it on and off. If you just leave it on it automatically cycles through on for 6 hours and off for 18 hours. I guess it would work good as a night light that turns off after 6 hours but I just turn it on when needed and turn it off when not. It does light up the room quite a bit.

   If this is what your looking for it’s not a bad product. I wasn’t able to see how long the batteries would last, but the construction overall is not bad for a plastic ornament. When taken out of demo mode these lights have a built in timer. They will light for 6 hours and then turn off for 18 hours. The timer function seems to be fairly accurate. The lights have a small built in hook for hanging. If used outside you would probably need addition securing to be sure they didn’t blow away.

   This is not exactly what I expected, a large light bulb that will work great for Christmas. But as a Christmas ornament, it will look very good out in the front yard along with our other Christmas decorations. If you like decorating your yard during the holidays, this is right for you. In that case, go for it…it’s my recommendation to obtain a few.

    These days, When I look at the way people use lighting in there house and yard, I could see a Christmas Ornament like this used as another cool lighting accent for the home, even though this 13 in. light-up yellow Ornament is meant to be seasonal, I would and am using it in the back yard as a accent for the fire pit, along with some string lights and what a Cool effect it makes in the yard. This HOME ACCENT HOLIDAY Jumbo Ornament by LUMINARA is LED and has a 6 hour timer, runs on 3 AA batteries and is easy to hang anywhere with the little hook provided on top, it’s Meant to be used indoors only and looks cool inside too, but as long as you have a covered space for it to hang, you could use it outdoors on a limited bases, I do and I love the look, especially on the covered deck and it makes a cool conversation piece !!

    This is a very decorative hanging ornament. The light inside illuminates the whole globe. It is simple to operate. You do have to unscrew the battery plate to replace the original batteries as recommended. The LED light should allow the batteries to last a long time due to minimal demand. We plan to hang them on our porch at Christmas time rather than stringing up lights. These come in other colors.

    Although entirely made of a plastic, this ornament is quite well manufactured and taking into consideration the asking price, it is well worth acquiring for decorative purposes.The globe unscrews easily and the 3 AA batteries are removed and replaced with one screw and there is no need to remove the screw all the way, just enough to take the panel out leaving the screw in the removable lid for easy return. Having replaced the supplied batteries for my own rechargeable and reassembling it, the advertisement of 6 hrs on, 18 hrs off does appear to be accurate. Just slide the switch to on for the timer to operate and off for the `try me`

    I love that they are jumbo sized so they look great during the day on my tree. The bad thing is this little led light inside seems pretty flimsy and one already broke off. Also the batteries need to be replaced every week so I’ve gone thru a ton of batteries already.

    I initially got this large Christmas light ornament as a talking point thinking it would be a good conversation piece but after receiving it I saw other opportunities. This is indeed a replica of a giant Christmas bulb and I believe it will be something that will hang nicely on the front porch. The led lights don’t require a great deal of power and the soft glow looks good hanging as an ornament. It will be a conversation starter but also brings a little Christmas cheer.

    A very low wattage but very bright ornament for indoor use only. Batteries lasted slightly more than the 6 hours that the manufacture states. I got 6.5 hours on one and 6.75 hours on another. I used them as a decoration over a window but due to the size had to use a hanger to get the light away from the window. I will note that I only used them one night for now as it is not the Christmas season yet but intend to use as a decoration over the Christmas season.

    My only issue is that one out of the five was defective and does not work. Rest are in my backyard and I love them.
