I purchased this set because I need a set that matches the one I currently have up. On the website, it shows one of the settings as “In waves” but when I bought the set home, there is no “in waves” setting. Just wanted everyone to be aware in case you’re looking for a specific function.

Upon opening this item it seemed to be Functional while still in the box. I really haven’t investigated all 8 Functions, but the Lights changed when I changed the selector dial. That’s a good sign and they’re blinking fine in the Front Yard!

Have been looking for these for a few years, Had 1 string from a few years ago and couldn’t find them until this year. Awesome lights. Have 3 sets now and they make the tree almost perform as the lights go up, down, out and then flow back on again. Will have these lights on my tree forever.

Sometimes hard for me to find multifunction colored lights. My others from years before were no longer good. I was pleasantly surprised Home Depot had these on hand. I ordered them on line a couple weeks before Christmas and it didn’t take long for them to email and let me know they were ready for pickup. It was such an easy process. I love the colors. They were what I expected, but the only thing I wish is that there are yellow bulbs in the mix. That would make them brighter and stand out more.

The lights offer a nice variety of display options such as steady-on, pulsing, fade, twinkle and random. The negatives are that there is virtually no lead wire between the plug and the light bulb segments. This means your extension cord is inevitably visible at the bottom of the bush or tree you are decorating and these are most often a different color than the product’s wire so there is a need for creative hiding techniques to make this work visually. The selection box for choosing the type of lighting display is poorly marked with barely visible numbers and no corresponding key to know what the numbers mean. All in all these are ok but they typify the Chinese trinket quality that the Home Depot is flooded with these days.
