Had to return one roll as it didn’t work with testing before they were hung. Not as “bright” as claimed but the family is happy with the purchase so far. Not sure about longevity.

I’m switching to LED lights so that I can use fewer extension cords. These lights looked good in the store and when I plugged them in at home, before uncoiling them. The 100’ version is actually two 50’ strands on one coil – thank God.I began by clipping 50 of them to my roofline and am so thankful that I tested them before hanging any more; they are the dimmest C9 bulbs that I’ve ever seen, LED or otherwise. Additionally, 47 out of the 50 bulbs were so loose that they needed at least 2 complete twists to be completely tightened. If you’d like your display to be visible from more than 25’ away, save your time and money by skipping over these “Super Bright” lights (and that’s not an exaggeration, they’re that dim) and looking elsewhere.

For the look I wanted, these lights work great. The clips available at Home Depot help with getting them straight on gutters and shingles on the gabled eaves of my house. Bright, but not hot and requires little to no power.

I love that these look like glass but are plastic! So they don’t break easily at all! Also, each spool is actually two strands connected so that is helpful. The connection points allow a second place to connect which is a nice option. The number of sets you can connect seems endless. Highly recommend!
