Wanted lights that looked old school and would have gone with the less expensive incandescent white lights, yet the lengths would not work on our home. In spite of negative reviews, we are delighted with these extremely bright lights! Just be careful to tighten each bulb before installing, as some were a bit loose out of the packing. If needed, could not find replacement bulbs, so have a few extra feet if needed overtime. Paid full price as limited stock in local store, yet definitely worth it.

By daylight, the bulbs don’t seem all that bright, but on my 30 foot tree with 800 bulbs it looks like the Luxor Hotel in Vegas! Very happy with them. I did knot the wire and tape each connection between the strands to prevent them coming apart in the wind or get water intrusion.

I always read the reviews before I buy things. Alot of the reviews said they were very dim and they werent lying. Kinda disapointed by how dimm they are the incadescent c9 are brighter than these. They work but just not as bright as I thought it would be for LED

I have to be honest I returned this actual item not because I didn’t like the product but because I also purchased the exact same lights as 2 – 50 light strands and they worked out better then this single 100 light strands. These lights are fantastic – they are a nice soft white still not yellow light not harsh blue light just a perfect white. They are COMPLETELY cool to the touch and have clips attached to each light base so if you want to could clip them on easily. I am not using them as Christmas lights they actually light a kennel I have for dinner ferral kitties we will be relocating out of state with us and they will remain with the kennel when we get there. If I could have afforded to keep the 100 light strand too – I would have – just not in the budget. But these or any shorter version of the same lights and you will be pleased – they would be great to illuminate a gazebo, patio or porch in the summer – so not just for Christmas! Very pleased!
