Its BEATIFUL! Exactly what I expected. Using as a prop for my daughter’s Sweet 16 party theme is “Once Upon a Time”. Put it together myself with the help of my 5 year old, easy to build, no tools required. Mesh covering is a little fragile, but just handle with care and it will be fine.

II wasn’t the easiest to put together, as their wasn’t an adequate amount of zip ties to hold it securely. Also they should mark the points of attachment by maybe ” color coding ” It turned out nicely, once it came together. Allow yourself PLENTY of time to assemble-don’t be in a rush and save yourself some frustration!

What I love most is the products definition says “Twinkling Carriage” and it is a nice elegant twinkle not a strobe like flashing that is seen in other products that are described as “Twinkling….”. This is the sweetest most magical Christmas yard decoration you can purchase for a 5 year old princess! Assembly was super easy! I was debating to purchase this after reading other reviews but I’m so glad I did it. Some of the lights twinkle which makes an absolute beautiful display at night 🙂

Although this is an extremely cute decoration once you get it set up, you first have to know several quality issues the product has. I can understand why it’s a special order item, because the packaging is extremely poor and wouldn’t survive much in transit handling that wouldn’t result in major damage to the unit. The cardboard box it ships in is extremely thin, and can be opened with very little effort. Once inside – all there is to protect it are a few sheets of bubble wrap. Then the instructions leave a lot to be desired (you can download the “leaflet” in advance from this site to see what I mean). They state that two people are required to assemble it and believe me it really helps because it is all prewired and you need several hands to untangle the pieces first. The carriage has no screws or fasteners – just a few tie straps to keep it together. The frame is made of soft wire – similar to a coat hanger from a dry cleaner, and is easily bent. So, you really need to study the photos and instructions to get everything to line up – but even then, the glue that they use to attach the fabric and paint overspray result in pieces that won’t fit because of alignment or the fact you need to scrape off the excess coatings first. I really suggest a pair of pliers or channel locks be used to nudge the pieces into place and align the slots – but you really need to be careful or you will break the frame in the process. After the holidays are over you will still have one more problem – this thing isn’t made to be disassembled for storage. So you are going to have to find a save place to keep it the rest of the year. I like it, it’s nice, it’s pricey for what it’s made of, and time will tell how many season’s it will actually last. Which is funny, because the LED lights they incorporateed are the best designed part of the assembly and will easily last 10-20 years.

So, I when I recieved the first of two the box was destroyed. They pack this fragile carriage in a cheap flimsy box with no foam or any reinforcement. NONE. It’s just laid in there and flops around the whole trip. So when we went through the parts it was missing the key support poles. The girlfriend wanted this so bad for Christmas that I decided to order another and return the first. Well the second box was in the same condition. But luckily not missing parts. The carriage itself is really nice though. And is well worth the money. Lights up nice and bright. The gf has a 3′ Pegasus that she strung white lights between to look like it’s being pulled. Minus a star for the packaging and hassle but it’s nice.

Really beautiful! But I was disappointed with the sparse amount of lights on the lower portion (gold area) of the carriage. I added more lights to the entire carriage which makes it spectacular – just wish the whole thing was larger.
