Lights are small and better for indoor use but I used them for outdoor wreaths. Battery operated is great! They work well but I’d suggest buying several and string them together or use them on individual items.

Work great on our fence. It’s too far from the house to run a bunch of power chords so I got 4 of these. Timer works good. Batteries last about a week if you turn them on at dark and leave them on and let the 6 hour timer do it’s work. They come back on at the same time every night, until they don’t, then you change batteries and do it all again. Hope I get multiple seasons out of them with proper storage after the holidays.

I was hoping the timer would allow me to select the on/off times. It was a programmed timer that cannot be changed. If you like the programmed timer then this would probably work. I returned it the next day.

I was not happy with this purchase because the timer function is the only option there is no constant on. And when the timer resets it starts over at the top option of all the twinkling options instead of starting where it was left off. They also blast through batteries like no lights that I’ve ever used before. Well they’re pretty they did not meet my needs as far as functionality.

Work fairly well. I just wish the “on” stage was longer. They stay on for 6hrs only. Or that you have the ability to leave on. Was curious to see if they would light after the heavy snowstorm – – and they do – – so thats cool. I did wrap up the battery box in plastic baggie just for extra protection against the elements.
