We were looking for a soft decorative light to add to our decor and this rope light fit our needs perfectly. They light up the space with a nice warm light without being intrusive or glaring. The length is good, at 26 feet, and there are 100 lights in that length, so it’s well spread out throughout the light. These rope lights are smaller in diameter than a lot of rope lights and have little dots of light, which is just the look we were after.

These lights are terrific to put on a platform train display. Great color and easy to staple over the wire to the platform.

The lights are small but very bright. We intend to use them on a tree down near the highway. Since our driveway is over 1/2 mile long lights are not an option unless they have a timer such as this does. Every year I find the smallest tree available, use large plastic ornaments and garlands of tinsel, which is very visible in the daytime but nothing shows up at night. Even though these lights are small they will put out a nice glow in the dark so there still will be something to see. A bonus is that there were instructions with this item, minimal, but certainly enough to know what to do to set it up. The timer is for 6 hours on and 18 hours off so by having 6 AA batteries hopefully it will last the 10 days we need.

Really nice, easy to use product. The incredible efficiency of the LEDs in this light rope allow it to run off of batteries, which could never be done with traditional lights. Plus despite its simplicity, it has a very intuitive battery-saving feature: you can press a single button to put it in timer mode, which runs for 6 hours, shuts off, and then turns on again 18 hours later. So have it turn on at 6pm, shut off at midnight, and run again the next day at 6pm without having to turn it on. Brilliant!The only thing I’m concerned about is run time – I haven’t been able to figure out how long it lasts on its batteries. And take note that the product description is incorrect: it uses 6 AAs, not 3AAs. That’s a lot of batteries, so consider using rechargeables!

This is a very nice set of lights that should last for many years regardless of the weather, sun or rain as they are inside of vinyl. The real nice thing about these lights is that they operate off of battery power, the only draw back would be how long the batteries will last although I would not leave them on all night. When I received these, they were packaged in a very professional manner .

These lights are ideal for decorating when you can’t get corded power such as tent camping or like we did, stringing them along our back patio fence where we don’t have any power outlets.The light string is well constructed, the micro dot LED’s are enclosed in a vinyl type of tubing that seems to protect the LED’s and makes it easy to string the lights out without getting the line tangled.The string has plenty of lights, an average of 4 LED’s per foot, however, the light output is not too bright.The power is supplied by 6) AA batteries that are stored in a weather resistant box.The power box can be separated if needed but it takes a little effort to release the cord plug.You can not add additional strings, each string has to be individually powered. It would be nice to have an AC power option but not a big deal. The light timer on the control box helps to conserve power. So far mine have lasted over a week running 6 hours each day on the same batteries.

These microdot lights are a great option for subtle indoor or outdoor lighting. At 26’ long with 100 LED lights in the string, they provide plenty of coverage for an outdoor Xmas tree, a roof eave or fence. The lights have a soft white hue and look great.There is a simple controller that allows the lights to be operated on a timer or permanently switched on. If the timer mode is selected, the lights will illuminate for 6 hours and then switch off for 18 hours before switching back on automatically.There is a loop on the battery box and also a fitting with a hole in it at the end of the light rope which allow both ends to be hung on a small nail or tied with a small nylon tie wrap.The lights are battery operated and take 6 ‘AA’ 1.5 volt batteries. The battery box has a rubber gasket to keep it watertight if you are using the lights outside. There is also a red ribbon in the battery box that you place under the lower row of batteries to make them easier to remove.
