LED holiday light strand, battery powered! Now I can have merry lights at the far end of my long driveway!26 feet of slim clear tubing, with a different color LED about every 3 inches. Nice and bright for battery power (LED technology keeps getting better). Easy to string.At the end is a box with a button. You fill it with six AA cells. Snap-latches open/close easily and keep the electrics rain-tight. Note that batteries are not included. The button gives three modes. Off, On, and a timer. The timer runs 8 hours on and 16 hours off. Once the string is strung-up and tested, wait for dusk. Now click the lights on, and click once more– that is timer mode. 8 hours will cover all evening without wasting power overnight and the next day. The cycle repeats each day. Nifty!I had just built a birch-branch “star”. Pictures show the star at dusk, a close-up, and the start at night. The camera does not do it justice.

Exactly what I was looking for to use for low lighting on my lanai. I put it around the edge of my house in that area. Purchased a second one to light up a plant display. Very happy. They turn themselves on and off. I don’t even have to worry about it!

Quality looks good. The battery box has a gasket that should keep it fairly water tight. The plastic rope is soft and supple. There is a plug connecting the battery box to the lights. I don’t think it is meant to come apart often but this allows you to put the box in your shirt pocket and run the lights out onto a costume or jacket for fun. It’s not too bright so it best as a back ground lighting. in my image it is balled up to about the size of a basketball and isn’t bright enough to read. that isn’t the purpose, just giving you an idea of brightness. The timer is great so you can put it up for Christmas or any holiday in a hard to reach spot and it will go on and off at the right time. only bummer is it doesn’t flash. with technology as it is I would think a flash mode would not be too hard given the size of the controller boxes on other led lights. for the price I didn’t knock off a star. It is still a great set of lights that is super portable for having fun.

These actually look really nice. They are easy to use out of box, because they aren’t tangled yet. They are light weight. One of the biggest pluses and minuses … they are battery operated. So not having an outlet out in front of your row house or in your back yard is not a hindrance. The drawback is it is battery operated so that you will have to replace the battery and you have to be contentious about when you have the system turned on and off.

A very nice LED micro light rope. This is not for your full sized tree, but perfect for a small ornamental tree, in our case next to the front door. The lights are really well constructed. Particularly for outdoor use. The lights are sealed as is the battery box. I paused when I saw it takes six double A batteries. So I decided on a test. I put in six batteries and lit the strand to run 24×7. I am entering the 14th straight day and it is still running strong. For the record that’s 336 hours of continuous operation and they are still going strong. It has a great setting of running six hours on and 18 hours off. That’s perfect for my Christmas season. And with fresh batteries, it’s one thing I am not going to have to worry about during the holidays.

Lights seem to be working well now. The clip connector between the battery pack and rope lights was loose and required me to disconnect and reconnect. I wish the instructions used proper grammar
