   The Essence Stainless Steel 4 piece canister set is a nice looking set and very trendy I suppose. Goes well in the kitchen counter and matches other stainless steel appliances that is ubiquitous in many homes in this modern day and age. Set includes canister sizes 25.5 oz., 35.5 oz., 49 oz., and 62.5 oz. Feels durable but maybe fragile regarding glass bottoms if dropped. Suitable for many storage applications and decorative in it’s design. Undecided if I will keep it in our pantry shelves or leave out in a convenient location on our kitchen counter.

   This four piece cannister set has sizes that hold 25.5, 35.5, 49, and 62.5 oz. They are all the same diameter, 4″ at the top and 4.5″ at the flared bottom. The heights are 5.25″, 7″, 9.25″ and 11.25″Each canister came wrapped in bubble wrap and tightly taped, making them well protected but requiring a bit of effort to unwrap them. They are to be hand washed. These are glass jars with screw-on plastic lids and decorative metal covering on the jars and the lid. I noticed no flaws in the metal finish.Because the glass is fairly thick these are heavy. The largest canister weighs 2.5 lbs empty. They also can’t be picked up without touching the metal jacket. The metal jacket is fairly resistant to fingerprints but they do show under bright light.

   I really like this set of 4 canisters. They are actually 4 different sized glass canisters that are wrapped in a thin stainless steel cover. They look really nice and I do not have any issue style-wise with the inside being glass, but the only downside to this is washing them. I would not advise immersing them into water to wash them. Water easily gets trap in between the glass and the stainless steel. After making that mistake with the first canister, I chose to carefully clean the inside of the other 3 canisters with a soapy cloth instead, and that worked fine. I like the fact that the tops are easy twist on/off lids.

   The Essence Stainless Steel Canister ( Four Piece ) Set Is a very unique way to keep your coffee beans, spices, and sugar fresh and organized. They are made predominately from stainless steel with just the bottom being class. Both the stainless steel and the glass are extremely heavy. You can feel the quality when you lift them or screw on the tops. The lids fit tight and their slender shape makes them a great choice where space is limited. Please note, they are heavy and even more so when filled.

    Home Basics 4-Piece Stainless Steel Canisters looks great. The canisters are four different sizes in height, 25.5oz, 35.5oz, 49oz and a 62.5oz, but the top of the jars and lids are all same size. Hand wash only or you will have water seeping between the the glass and stainless steel. I found the thickness of the glass is durable and heavy. They are great for keeping my pastas and snacks organized and dry.

    Cool canisters currently using them on my counter with breakfast items, cereal, coffee, pecans and granola. Tight lids and I love the fact that the bottoms are glass. The only downside is the chrome gets streaky. Great purchase and price.
