I wanted to replace a nasty plastic silverware drawer liner with something nicer and this one is perfect! (Be sure to measure your drawer width to get the correct size) It fit great, holds what I wanted it to hold and it’s real wood! I had to trim the back flap about 3/8″ for the proper fit, no problem. One could also trim the width a bit off both sides if necessary. I like this product!!

The natural maple is a nice look. The actual divider only has three slots. The picture shows 2 outside storage and 5 internal storage slots for silverware. The height is perfect and just clears for closure. There were a lot of wood spurs that I needed to sand down. That is why I gave it 4 stars. We are looking to expand and add more maple divider trays.

Once placed into a drawer the tray is really great looking and organizes utensils well. Much nicer than the many plastic dividers out there. Adds a touch of elegance to the kitchen. But for an item this expensive it has many drawbacks. The edges are only rough cut and in some spots so rough it leaves chips on the visible parts. I had to sand mine down. The instructions say it can be cut to fit, but how many people will pay so much, then find a wood worker with the right tools to cut it – and it does take skill to cut these thin veneers without damage. Also HD’s description and picture are wrong. The tray is 13″ wide, not 10″, and won’t fit snugly in any standard drawer. The photo shows 5 silverware compartments, but there are only 3. Only buy this if you can find in a store and measure it.

The cutlery insert is made from a nice maple color wood. The tray is built a little longer than the drawer. You will need to use a table saw to shorten it (or have someone do it for you). General instructions are included which also covers a few of their other products. The width fits perfectly – very snug – and the end part of the tray is about 4 inches longer where the trimming is required

We remodeled our kitchen over the summer and added plenty of drawer space. We went from having only one drawer to having 12, which was it’s own dilemma. Previously, our one drawer held every piece of silverware we used regularly as well as many cooking utensils. We didn’t want to just clean and throw the same old ugly plastic silverware organizer back into the new drawers, so we found this online and gave it a shot. We are definitely excited that we took a chance, because it has been everything we wanted. Plenty of space for both types of spoons, forks, and butter knives, as well as those strange pieces that only get used at Thanksgiving & Christmas. I did have to time just a 1/4 inch of the length to fit into the drawer but it was easy with a table saw
