This solid maple wood cutlery divider is a well-fitting drawer divider for cutlery and miscellaneous utensils. It comes fully assembled in box. When I first pulled out of box and tried to fit in drawer, it was too long for the depth of my drawer. As I looked at included instructions, I noticed divider is meant to be trimmed as necessary. At first, I didn’t like having to trim about a ¼ inch off end, but after I trimmed, I am happy that it is made to trim since it makes insert fit perfectly without sliding around inside drawer. I trimmed by simply sawing off end with circular saw. Maple is finished in natural finish and matches my Kraft Made drawers perfectly.

This is a heavy duty, real maple wood silverware divider for a kitchen drawer. If it does not exactly fit your drawer the instructions say you can use a table saw to cut it to fit. For most people I would recommend that you measure your drawer and buy the right size so that you don’t have to cut much, if at all. The wood is thick, and the dividers provide plenty of room for a large number of utensils. I would highly recommend this tray if you want your silverware to look as good as possible.

I am pleased with the wooden cutlery divider. While the tray fit perfectly in my drawer I decided to cut back the half section on both side which now gives me one larger section for the odd items I have in my possession. The wood is easy to cut and gave a clean edge without splinters. The dividers provided work nicely for my cutlery set. The maple neutral color is a good match for my oak fronts.

This is a beautiful custom-looking divider tray that fit precisely in my drawer.I should start by saying that I’ve always been a bit confused by cabinet measurements, and even ordering this product left me a little unsure of what I was going to get. It’s listed as 16″ x 3″ x 19″ for a 21″ shallow drawer, but the 21″ standard left me wondering exactly what I was going to get, as I didn’t find any particular measurement of my drawer that equaled 21″. Plus, I could tell that the photo provided by The Home Depot was a generic marketing photo, and does not correspond to the actual product, just the product line. Look at my photos to see what this product actually looks like. When the tray arrived, I immediately measured it, and this is what I came up with:15-7/8″ wide2-7/8″ tall20″ deepYou’ll notice that it doesn’t exactly match the description (it’s 1/8″ shorter in width and height), but maybe that’s just how these measurements are always done. I’ll leave it to others to figure it out – all I know is that precisely fit in my drawer, as if it was custom cut! Now, I should mention that the instructions included with the tray got me pretty confused as well, because they assume you’ll be cutting the tray using a table saw – that’s actually listed as a “required” tool! Perhaps this product is typically purchased by installers, but I doubt the average home owner is going to want to start cutting these up with a table saw. With that said, I’m very impressed with the quality of this solid-wood product. I looked all over the tray, the packaging, and the instructions to see if the country of origin was stamped anywhere, but unfortunately it wasn’t. Given the quality as well as the high cost of this product, I have to assume it’s made in the USA. I like it so much that I’m going to order more for other drawers in my kitchen, and now that I understand more about how the measurements, hopefully I’ll get the right fit!
