Beautiful salad plates!They are from Portugal and are microwave and dishwasher safe, although the plates will get hot in the microwave. The colors are a soft blue with touches of yellow. Each plate has a slightly different pattern. I plan to use my plates as appetizer dishes. These will also make a nice gift if you split them up and include cookies or candy as a gift.

The plates were like ironstone, which is not bad, but I expected something a bit more delicate. Also the mustard color was more beige than yellow, not as bright as I would have liked. The designs are lovely. They are ok for everyday dishes.

These plates are very nicely done and what fun to have four different coordinating patterns. There are 4 plates and its a “coupe” shaped plate. Coupe plates are flat, rimless plates with a slight concave that is sometimes referred to as a flat bowl. The plates feel very solid and are well made. The color palate is blue and mustard yellow. They are dishwasher safe, and can be used in the microwave as long as you are aware the plates can get pretty hot.

These plates are really beautiful. As I am constantly trying to make sure my portion sizes are sufficient to maintain my weight, I always use Salad plates. These are the same size as the ones I currently use, but they are delightfully colorful. More lightweight than my regular dinnerware. They came really well package, no plates came damaged or chipped. I like a well set table when dining.

I love the different color kaleidoscope like design of the 4 piece plate set. The four plate have their own design mixed with blue, mustard yellow on a white salad plate. These plates are made in Portugal and are dishwasher/microwave safe plates. These plates have a earthenware clay material that give a glazed smooth finish. I really like the assorted color 4 piece dishes. Great for salads and small/med servings. The Home Decorators Collection has outdid themselves again.

These lovely dishwasher and microwave safe plates will brighten up any table setting. They are made in Portugal with patterns reminding us of the wonderful tiles we saw everywhere when we visited Portugal a couple of years ago. The plates are a dusky blue and mustard yellow in 4 different patterns. They measure about 8 inches across and are very slightly bowl shaped – the technical term is coupe shaped. The back of each plate contains a warning that they may get hot in the microwave but we did not find that to be so with the things we re-heated on the plates. It is possible that they would get very hot if the heating time was prolonged. These would be so cute used with blue charger plates. HD calls them luncheon plates but at 8 inches they are nearly big enough to use as dinner plates. They are well made, nicely decorated and very pretty. Also quite inexpensive for a set of 4.
