This gorgeous set of salad plates, inspired by traditional patterns found in Portugal, will brighten up your table without breaking the bank. The coupe-style plates are slightly concave so your dressing, sauce, or other liquids will stay corralled without mess, and you’ll be able to savor every drop. These are earthenware, which is a fired clay product that is lighter than stoneware. That makes them a little easier to handle when setting the table, serving, and during cleanup. These are dishwasher safe, but earthenware is less durable than stoneware. It’s a more affordable option that, with this Home Decorator set, puts a beautiful touch within reach of your budget. Really love these. We will use these for salads, side dishes during soup nights, and of course for sweets at any time of the day.

This round salad plate collection comes with four uniquely painted hand-glazed earthenware plates. They measure about eight inches wide and are a rich yellow and deep blue in color and are oh so fun!! They are microwaveable and dishwasher safe, but always be careful as they may get hot. These plates are not overly heavy but are of a nice weight to easily handle. I have so many uses for these plates an am excited to put them to use. You won’t go wrong adding theses delightful plates to your arsenal of fun!

These are very nice as a salad plate or they could be used as a dinner plate since they are over 8 inches in diameter. We have used them as both. They are both dishwasher and microwave safe. Our grand kids love them as they are all a blue and yellow color but with different designs…No more arguments over which plate belongs to who. The warnings say they get hot in the microwave but we have found them not to get any hotter than any other dish we use in the microwave. A great addition to any kitchen or dining room.

I like the color and the pates seem sturdy. 1 month in and no cracks or breakage. Beautiful! Packaged well so when shipped to store no breaks and brought right to car!

Two of the plates are as stunning as the photo on the website; one is just a bit faded from the photo, and one is quite fuzzy and faded in color. Happy with three of the plates, but that last one is going to take some time to learn to like. Otherwise, I would have given this 5 stars.

These will be very useful during the holidays, but also for everyday use. The colors are really vibrant. I like that they are all different patterns. They are made in Portugal. They are microwave and dishwasher safe, but may get hot in microwave.

I love these salad plates although I used them for dessert. I’ve only had these plates for a week and have already used them twice. They are earthenware so are a nice weight without being heavy. They are made in Portugal with European designs of dark to light shades of blue and mustard seed yellow. The plates are both hand painted and glazed so they vary a bit . There are 4 different patterns which makes it a fun set. I received compliments on them and my friends were surprised to know they are sold by Home Depot. They are also dishwasher safe so that was a bonus as many hand painted plates say hand wash only. I highly recommend if you enjoy unique dinnerware.

Absolutely lovely little plates. Actually not all that little. They are smaller than a dinner plate, but as they don’t have a wide rim, they are large enough to hold a sandwich and small salad or chips. They are well-made with a smooth finish, and are both microwave and dishwasher safe. Part of the fun is that while they contain the same colors, each plate has it’s own design which gives interest to setting the table. Looking forward to using them on a daily basis.

Beautiful four piece set of salad plates, Very vibrant in colors of blue and yellow. . Each piece is a different design yet is obviously a ‘set’ meant to go together. Has the look of hand crafted and hand painted pieces as you can see small characteristics that make each piece unique. Definitely dishwasher safe (washed them immediately) and the finish was not affected by my scrub cycle.

These plates are slightly bigger than my other salad plates but they stack and nest just fine. They are thick and heavy and the designs are beautiful. They are displayed in my glass-front cabinets so appearance is important. Each one has a different design but they are cohesive and look great mixed and matched with my blue dinnerware. They’re dishwasher safe which is a huge plus! I thought they were going to be a little thinner like china but they’re thick and heavier than I expected.
