These plates have a sturdy, robust feel to them. These may look like they are only for special occasions, but the fact that these dishes are microwave and dishwasher safe make them very practical and great for everyday use. The print and smooth glossy finish holds up well to sharp knifes and harsh dish detergents. These stack nicely for efficient usage of cabinet/ storage space. The size is good for a snack, salad or children’s plate, with the diameter of approximately 8 1/4″ wide. I only have one set of these, and each plate has a different pattern, so I do not know if a second set of these would match up exactly. They come well packaged with thick cardboard padding. These pair up nicely with the Home Decorators Rosaline and Lisbon sets. Hand glazed and made in Portugal. .

Beautiful, coupe shaped accent plates in a vibrant blue and mustard yellow color that is sure to brighten up any dinner. These earthenware plates are made in Portugal, are approx. 8 inches round and 1 ¼ inch tall. Each plate offers a similar yet different kaleidoscopic pattern that is reflective of a European design and can be used for multitudes of occasions. We used ours for appetizers and received many compliments on their festive appearance. The product is both dishwasher and microwave safe and feels lighter than our stoneware plates of the same size and will handle thermal shock better than our stoneware. These are well made and attractive plates, excellent price point, recommended.

Stunning set of four dessert plates in beautiful Portuguese patterns reminiscent of famed Azulejo tiles. Plates are weighty and sturdy, are well made and stack nicely. They compliment just about any decor and are very unique. The go well with my Turkish bowls and fit in perfectly with my Mediterranean style. I would definitely recommend these lovely dishes.

This set of four salad plates is no exception.With the plates measuring 8.25″, it will accommodate any food placed upon it.The four plates are beautiful to look at. Beautiful set of 4 salad plates in a blue and yellow pattern, perfect contrast for the Lisbon twilight blue service. My wife and I love this whole line. The colors are rich and the quality is top notch — microwave and dishwasher safe, and no chips yet even though our young kids aren’t the most careful when putting stuff in the sink. These yellow patterned plates are just funky enough to be interesting, and when you pair them with the twilight blue dinner plate (see the photos), they make for a really stunning place setting. Very reasonable price, given the quality. HIGHLY recommended.
