The pictures could never do this set justice. It’s a beautiful well made and modern dinnerware set that complements my modern minimalist decor. They feel and look great. The plates have a nice modern design with a lipped ridge. The bowls measure a little over 6” inches, the small plate is 8” and the large plate is almost 11”! Plenty of room to stockpile a Thanksgiving feast or any holiday meal! The inside has nice glaze with an ombré effect. The outside is traditional unglazed stoneware. I have never owned stoneware and was curious as to how well they would rinse off food residue if sauces were to linger on the unglazed parts. I’m happy to report they rinse with ease, if you were curious. They’re so nice, I’m hesitant to use them for everyday dining. But…#TreatYoSelf

BEAUTIFUL CONTEMPORARY DESIGN. This high end service of 4 (16 Pieces) stoneware dinner set will make your table setting stand out. This set has a very unique sturdy design. Dishwasher safe. There are 4 soup bowls 6 in. diameter and 2 in. deep, 4 coffee mugs that stand 4-1/4 in. tall, 4 salad plates 8 in. in diameter and lastly, 4 dinner plates 10-1/2 in. in diameter. My wife and I love this set.

We ordered this dining set because of the color and “matte finishing”, let me tell you it is GORGEOUS! We were going for a mid-century modern vibe in our home and this stoneware delivered. I feel like this dishes belong in a hip restaurant, beautiful! Things to consider: They are a little heavy and they don’t stack as perfectly as other dinnerware might; this has not been a problem for us but thought you might like to know.You like the other items in the pics? To start out on this review. These are solid, stylish and look great! They immediately added class to my dish cupboard. We immediately put them to use. We love the fact that they hold heat really well including the coffee cups, Large and small plates and bowls. The plates have a lip that helps prevent food from sliding off your plate. The bowls are deep and are great for cereal or hot soup! Today I am going to purchase another set and get rid of all of my old dishes. Very happy with this product! These receive Paul’s Gold seal approval award!

The Home Decorators Collection Pierce Stoneware Dinner Set arrived in perfect condition thanks to the sturdy packaging materials of the manufacturer. This set is very modern and very suitable for year round use with dark grey sides that contrast perfectly with the misty light grey centers. The unique sides of the dishes keep any foodstuffs from sliding off. The bowls are a great size for soups! While the set is dishwasher and microwave safe, it requires NO special cleaning which is welcome here. So a heartfelt thank you to the manufacturer for a useful product that is well made!!

This stoneware dinner set with service for 4 (dinner plate, bread plate, salad bowl, coffee mug) is perfect for my needs and the charcoal/shadow gray color matches the scheme of my dining room. The interior of each dish has a nice glazed finish while the exteriors are a matte finish. The weight of each piece provides a nice feel. For storage, the bases nest well with the tops of like pieces and takes up minimal space in the cabinet. Lastly, the plates have a substantial lip for dishes that may have broth … prime rib comes to mind. I would recommend this product.

This is like a modern deco simplistic design in my opinion. Essentially a 4 piece place setting of gray chalkboard like finish on the outside whereas the areas on the inside of cup, cereal bowl, side and dinner plates are only glazed in the inside. Thus the exterior are like clay pot finish. The design is very very simplistic. The dinner plate and side plate, have like a vertical lip edge and reminds me of flowering plant’s saucers. Overall a nice set for college kids or simple starter set for a small family.

When I began unpacking the dinnerware set, I could tell that each item felt solid and sturdy, and I could tell it was nice quality dinnerware. Once again I realized how much I love the classy charcoal and shadow grey color. I think the dinnerware set will really impress my guests when we have meals together. I really like that each item is microwavable safe, making reheating beverages and food easy and convenient. Each of the plates are easily stackable making storage very convenient and easy. I also love that the dinnerware is dishwasher safe making cleanup quick and easy. The salad and dinner plates are rimmed, keeping food from sliding off the plate. It is nice that the dinnerware comes in a 4 piece complete set. The set was available in three different colors, but I am so glad that I got the charcoal and shadow gray contrasted set. I would definitely recommend this high quality and beautiful dinnerware set to anyone who is looking to impress their guests when they have dinner.

This is a great set, gave this 4 stars because it is not as easy to clean as a glass plate, if you need to scrub the outside. The texture of it will definitely take some getting used to. I washed this in my dishwasher, no problems. I used this in the microwave and while it heated the food I must say that it seems that all of the heat was concentrated towards the center of the plate. I grabbed it from the sides and they were not as hot as the center of the underside of the plate. I love the look, looks great for outdoor cookouts. Great set( 4 cups, 4 saucers, 4 bowls, 4 plates)

I have just recently received my 16 piece Shadow gray Contrast Stoneware Dinnerware Set. Overall, I really like the dinnerware set. I like the fact that it is somewhat different than the normal dinnerware you see. I am very impressed with the color, the interior finish is great and I really like the shape / design of the dinnerware, especially the bowl and the plates. With that all said, I am not too sold on the exterior finish (being rather ruff) but I think it might grow on me. I just wonder if that might be a bit harder to keep clean. Now, I will probably go ahead and purchase another 16 piece set so that I will have a service for 8. I would reccommend this product to anyone wanting a very high class looking dinnerware, which I think this is. It appears to be a very high quality product.

This is a very unique dinnerware set. The plates are round and have this high edge which makes it really cool looking. Plus you won’t lose any food falling off your plate because it can’t. I love the two color contrast. It does, however, have this texture to it which is chalky. The stoneware feel is very much like a terra cotta planter only chalkier. It is microwaveable and dishwasher safe. We haven’t really used them yet at a formal get together so we are just enjoying them casually for now. But I cannot wait to show them off to guests. Perfect gift for someone who is looking for modern dinnerware with cool vibe.

Absolutely stunning stoneware set! It looks so modern and my family kept complimenting it. It has such a unique look that I’m keeping it displayed out on my floating shelves. The bowls and plates stack so so nicely. The exterior is a rough matte texture, kinda reminds me of a chalkboard. I was afraid it would feel too rough, but actually gives me a good grip when transporting dishes. The interiors are a smooth glaze finish that gradients into a lighter color. soooo beautiful. I haven’t used them for too long yet, so not sure if it will scratch. If I change my rating, I will update this review. The packaging is outstanding and nothing was damaged during transportation even though the box was not laid upright. There was cardboard in between every piece, which I was very impressed with. Super happy!!

Loved this set as soon as I saw it online. Got them pretty quickly and washed them. We’ve only had them for a few months, and a small plate and a large plate broke in our dishwasher. Our loads aren’t packed and there wasn’t anything near that could’ve hit it. Was pretty disappointed when the first piece broke, but even more so now that another has broken. Guess we’ll have to hand wash these.

It looks like it cost quite a bit more than it did and makes my table stand out much more than it ever has before. I renovated my kitchen last year and it seems as though the modern styling of this dinnerware set was made for its new look. While my kitchen isn’t eat-in sized, my dining room is adjacent and this set carries the color and style of my kitchen throughout the two rooms. If there’s one drawback to this set, it’s that it comes in service for four. This really isn’t such a drawback, however, as one may just pick up two or three sets according to his or her need. The two-tone pattern gives it somewhat of a dramatic feel and is really perfect when serving food. The tops of the plates and insides of the bowls are off-white thus not interfering with the colors of whatever foods are being served. The plates also have small rims which enhance the appearance and help keep food from falling or being pushed off. Initially I wasn’t sure how I would like the look, but once I set the table I was hooked.

I liked the look.I anxiously awaited the dinnerware set to arrive, which only took a couple of days. The box was heavier than I expected. When I opened the box, I found out why. The packaging blew my mind. There would be no way this dinnerware set could be damaged in shipment short of being completely crushed. I didn’t get a picture but take my word for it, it was expertly done.The color is Charcoal Grey/Shadow Grey and it includes four dinner plates that are 10.50 inches in diameter, four salad plates that are 8.25 inches in diameter, four bowls that are 6.30 inches in diameter and 2.10 inches deep, four mugs that are 3.30 inches in diameter and 4.20 in. deep. The dinner plates and salad plates are rimmed. A unique feature.All of the pieces are dark Charcoal Grey on the outside and around the rims with the Misty Grey on the inside. They are coated with a glaze; each piece is unique and the color varies a little. The glaze leaves a very smooth feel. I really like this stoneware set.They are made of stoneware and are dishwasher safe, with a note saying they are microwave safe but use caution as pieces may get hot in the Microwave.The bowls are the perfect size, I have been looking for 6 to 7 inch bowls, they are hard to find. The set is very nice looking.The Home Decorations Collection has multiple sets of stoneware and porcelain in different colors very moderately priced from $59.98 to $99.98. There are also flatware and glass sets in the Collection.Overall the 16 piece Charcoal and Shadow Grey Stoneware Dinner Set service for 4 gets a most hardy thumbs up from me. I may even buy another colored set as a gift for a wedding I’m attending in the not too long future.I am completely satisfied and will recommend this set to my family and friends.
