I love love love this set of dishes! The quality is very good, sturdy. The outside of the plates, bowls & cups are a flat, dark grey. They feel like they don’t have glaze on the outside, but the inside is a lighter grey that is shiny and clearly has a glaze on them. I’m pleasantly surprised these dishes are as nice as they are. I wasn’t expecting cheap dollar store quality, but far exceeded my expectations. The colors are beautiful and match the color scheme of my kitchen. I definitely recommend these to any and all that have are switching their kitchen to a grey paint. I don’t drink hot drinks, but have made a lot of hot teas since I received these dishes. They even look great with my VGK glasses. I would give them a higher rating if I could.

Great find…kiddos to my sister! I absolutely love these dishes. The only negative – well not really a negative, more of a preference. The dinner plate is huge. I wish it was a tad but smaller. Again, i can’t tell you how much I love the clean look, sleek design, and most importantly – the two tone color. I would purchase again and I highly recommend this product.

Home Decorators Collection Pierce 16-Piece Charcoal and Shadow Gray Stoneware Dinnerware Set – a very unique design, definitely eye catching!The Home Decorators Pierce Dinnerware set is the perfect accent for your dinner table! The unique color scheme of muted flat dark gray exterior contrasted with a glazed pale gray interior is definitely eye catching and will garner many complements from family and friends. Many can’t believe I got them at Home Depot!This dinnerware set includes service for 4, it includes four large 10.5 inch dinner plates, four bowls, four saucers and four coffee cups. All of the pieces are nice quality, the plates and bowls are large and the cups are deep. They are also microwave and dishwasher safe although I do not think I would use these in a microwave. A few negatives of this set, but definitely not show stoppers are, first, I do not see any other pieces available online to add to this collection and I do not see any separate serving pieces such as vegetable bowls or serving plates. If you really like this set and your family is hard on dinnerware I would suggest buying an extra set in case any piece chips or breaks. Additionally, the bottoms of this dinnerware set do not have a bottom rim like many dishes and bowls and with the flat finish on the bottom I almost scratched my cherry kitchen island top so I would suggest using a some type of placemat. This set is just a tad under $100 and is manufactured in China (why is nothing made in the USA anymore? ). This set has a 90 day return policy. Overall, the Home Decorators Pierce dinnerware set is a very nice quality and beautifully designed dinnerware set that looks very high end. The contrasting gray colors with muted flat exterior color scheme is really unique and is perfect for modern decors. This set will definitely draw many complements from family and guest and they will have a hard time believing you got them at Home Depot!

This 16pc. set of stoneware dinnerware includes 4 plates 10″ ea. 4 salad plates 8″ ea., 4 bowls 6″ ea. and 4 mugs 4″ tall x 3.5″ wide. This set is very different than I have ever seen in dishes. The plates are round with a small lip on the rim. At first I wasn’t sure if I would like it, but after getting food on them, it actually is a very nice feature! It holds your food on your plate, and makes it very easy to get the last bite of peas, corn, etc. off your plate because your fork holds the food right up against the lip. The bowls are 4″ deep.The color is dark gray stoneware on the outside and white on the inside of all items.They have a small ridge on the bottom of each piece which gives you the ability to stack everything. Each piece is good and sturdy and I would recommend this set because of the unique feature. Hope it holds up well and doesn’t chip easily!

The first thing I noticed was the packaging. It is packaged so well that there is almost no way anyone would experience any damage from shipment. The Home Decorators Collection Pierce 16-piece charcoal and shadow gray contrast is a modern style of stoneware dinnerware. The colors are very appealing and contrast greatly with any other dinnerware I have looked at. The finish on the outside of the stoneware is different from any other finish on any dinnerware I have handled. It is sort of a slip resistant finish, yet the interior of each piece is the very smooth finish you expect in dinnerware. The exterior is so different that I am not sure if I like it or not. It is not bad or offensive: just different. I looked to see if there were other complimentary pieces, but did not see any. However, the gray coloration of this set will blend with virtually any other colors. I like the raised sides of the plates and the style of the bowls. The coffee mugs are the same style I like and am accustomed to drinking out of. If your decor tends to be modern, you have to look at this set. You can tell from looking at and handling the dinnerware that it is quality material. It is also dishwasher safe as well as microwave safe.

Alright so definitely needed to update our daily dishes. I always wind up getting a very boring standard set. This is is everything but! We now have what the kids say is a very cool set of dishes. The color goes perfectly in our kitchen. I love the fade into the gray. Really nice heavy quality. They wash and dry nicely also. One of the very different things I love about this set is the mugs are actually usable, not like the tiny cups you usually get these are 16oz. The other notable difference is the plates, they have a rim, so food doesn’t slide off the plate.

I could not be more pleased with this dinnerware set from Home Decorators. It has a beautiful and elegant design and is incredibly sturdy. It’s contemporary yet simple. The speckled detailing is part of what I love about it in addition to the flat design of the plates. The coffee mugs have a handle that is wide enough for a good grip. The only thing to be aware of is because of the material, the mug takes on the temperature of the liquid. Thus, hot liquid will make the actual mug very hot. The handle does stay cool. Overall, this is a beautifully designed product of high quality that will surely enhance any meal setting.
