This collection of flatware is gorgeous! Simply curved, sleek, design, no pattern, being plain is beautiful, and tastefully elegant for everyday use or for special occasions and holidays. The flatware is extremely well made! Heavy duty material/stainless steel. Extremely sturdy and durable. The knives have wonderful serrated ages. The dinner forks and tablespoons are a bit longer than any other flatware I have ever owned and I love the length. I love simple elegant lines and these are the epitome of perfect to me! I am going to buy another set to have eight place settings. Makes a table beautiful!

We got the HOME DECORATORS COLLECTION MAYWOOD 45-PIECE STAINLESS STEEL FLATWARE SET (SERVICE FOR 8) because we go through so many utensils everyday that we can’t find what we need before we run out. The set is a good weight and I like the teardrop shaped handles. The set comes with everything you need for serving, including both a solid and slotted serving spoon and a large fork. It also comes with a sugar spoon and butter knife. The utensils are dishwasher safe.

I have to tell you, I wasn’t all kinds of involved with getting a set of flatware. I figured as long as the wife liked it, I was golden. We’d managed to ‘misplace’ just about ever fork we started with (I’m guessing they might have walked away with some empty take out boxes over the years) and I actually figured to get a new set and just replace the forks.But once I got these home and had a good look at them, I swapped out our entire old set for this set! They’re not just a good looking set. They have some heft to them too! They don’t have any of that feel like they’re going to bend or something like that. They’re strong, they look good… and they all graduated to our silverware drawer.I really like them for our every day set. The more I use them, the more I feel that way.

The 45 piece flatware set arrived in a small box with each piece wrapped in plastic. The stainless steel flatware is made of high quality, weighted nicely, is of high quality polish and importantly is very sturdy. This set will not bend or damage during normal everyday use. We really like the expensive look and feel. By far the best set we have owned! We unpackaged the set and ran through the dishwasher. These are dishwasher safe, cleaned easily and did not spot. During our short time of use, about a week now, we can truly say we are holding a good quality silverware set. We really like using this silverware set.It made getting rid of our old set easy. This is a great purchase. I’ve included a few pictures. I recommend this product for purchase.

This flatware set seems to be very high quality. Of course, only time will tell, but first impressions are favorable. First off, all of the pieces are solid, heavy, stainless steel. The fork tines are also very sturdy so you shouldn’t have to worry about them bending. The set has an elegant mirror finish, which may or may not be a good thing for you… they do show every fingerprint. A couple things to note: I find the salad forks to be kind of “dinky” looking, but as stated earlier are extremely sturdy. Also, beware that the handle ends are quite large!! So large in fact, that fitting them in your dishwasher’s silverware basket may not work. My dishwasher has slots to keep the items separate, but only the salad forks, small spoons, and knives (blade-side down) will fit in the slots (see photo). The dinner forks and large spoons are too big to fit.None of these things are a big deal, but simply things that might be good to know before you purchase.

I am very pleased with this set. It includes all the pieces plus serving pieces. It’s silver finish is shiny but not in a way that makes it look cheap. Sometimes the weight of the handle is too heavy and causes the flatware to fall off the plate, but these are not. The balance is perfect to keep this from happening. And the serving pieces are a great addition to the set. It would be the perfect set for a starter.

Not only are you getting the complete full table service of two spoons , 2 forks and knife for each person , but it also comes with a 5 piece serving set as well that includes a large slotted spoon, solid spoon , Large serving fork as well as a butter knife and a sugar spoon . The Home Decorators Collection Maywood 20-Piece Stainless Steel Flatware Set a very nice silverware set. These flatware pieces are very heavy compared to the silverware I already owned, and they are very sturdy. The smooth design is very comfortable to hold. My kids are great at bending fork tines and so far these are withstanding that test. The design is very smooth and elegant, and they had a mirror finish upon receipt. I would definitely purchase another set of these and get rid of some of my older tarnished silverware (or move them to my RV).

I like this casual set of silverware for everyday family use. The stainless steel 18/0 means that this flatware has 18% chromium and 0% nickel. The advantage for this is lower costs and dishwasher safe. The disadvantage is that the nickel affects corrosion resistance and luster. I tend to enjoy the soft feel of the sheen from the flatware after multiple uses and dishwasher cycles and it matches the simple, “farmhouse” pattern this set has. It’s a good set for everyday use and isn’t an issue if the kids lose a couple spoons, which typically happens with my sets. The set feels good in my hands and balanced well. I did notice upon first inspection, a few burrs on the spoon and handles and light brushed surface, not a clear polished chrome.

If you like shine and bling these are the stainless steel flatware for you.Extreme high polish that will add elegance to your dinner table. Drawback to NO FAULT of the quality is that you will be polishing them continually because they attract every smug from fingers (course I have never dealt with such a high polish perhaps there is a trick to making them somewhat less finger smuggy?)They are a good weightThe spoons and forks are a little on the small / delicate side however, not too small as if for a child,The spoons have a good bowel shape for soup.Diner knives have fine teeth that will cut easily.The serving fork and spoons are large, heavy and sturdy (as should be)Butter knife and sugar spoon are well, dainty and adorable! Butter knife has a sharpish cutting edge, will cut through cold butter without cutting a finger.
