This Maywood stainless steel flatware set is superior quality and probably the best set I have ever had. This is a 45 piece, service for 8 and includes everything you will need for everyday table setting. I am impressed with how large, and heavy duty the pieces are. The design is simple and each piece solid. What I really like is the handles are thick and oval shaped which allow for a good grip. I don’t think I will be bending any of these pieces, which I have done in the past with lesser quality flatware.

This is not your discount store variety stainless steel tableware. The pieces in this set are all substantial—meaning of a good weight and feel. The teardrop shape is attractive and would blend in with any table setting be it traditonal, contemporary, etc.At a price point of about $70 I feel the price is very fair for this quality and number of pieces.The place setting consists of a knife, dinner fork, salad fork, tablespoon and teaspoon (shown in the 1st picture).The hostess set includes a slotted serving spoon, closed serving spoon, meat fork, butter knife and sugar spoon (shown in the 2nd picture).The pieces are dishwasher safe.

The Maywood stainless steel flatware set had a very modern and simple elegance. The design of the handle is very simple with a clean smooth surface. Yet, when you pick up a piece, you will discover that each piece is very sturdy with a good size and weight. They are not flimsy and will not easily bend like more inexpensive flatware sets. This is a very nice quality flatware set. Need to keep in mind that this set is only for four people, so if you have a larger family, or plan on using this set to entertain guests, then you would need to purchase additional sets.
