The Home Decorators Collection Brenner 20-piece stainless steel flatware set (silver) has a simple handle design with no pattern. It is very contemporary and the quality is great. The price, in my opinion, reflects the nice quality. We need more than a service for 4 in our house but this set’s design is so simple that it will complement a set you might already have. It says that the set is dishwasher safe but you should avoid citrus-scented detergents.

These come packaged in sturdy box weighing a total of 2lbs, 7 oz. The box measures 10.25” X 3 7/8” X 1.5”. If you’re buying these with the intention of mailing, no additional packing is necessary. Each utensil comes in its own plastic sleeve rubber banded with its mates. There are 4 each of: dinner/table fork, dessert/salad fork, teaspoon, dinner/soup spoon, and knife; 20 pieces in all. The dinner/table forks are 8” long and weigh 1 5/8oz each. The dessert/salad forks are 6.75” long and weigh 1.25oz each. The teaspoons are 6.75” long and weigh 1 3/8oz each. The dinner/soup spoons are 8” long and weigh 1.75oz each. The knives are 8.75” long and weigh 2 7/8oz each. The knives have a serration which is sharp enough to cut most foods.The handles are slim, between 5/16” and 3/8” wide except for the knife which is 7/16”. They are sleek and modern-looking with no ornamentation. All of the handles taper slightly so they’re wider at the bottom than at the top. I thought the handles would be too narrow to be comfortable but they’re not, though I would not recommend these for most men or someone with large hands. These are better for women/teens/kids.

Heavy-duty stainless steel. The quality is superior and the feel is heavy which let you know that it is a good quality piece of silverware. The handles are super super skinny which at first takes a moment to get used to but once you do…it isn’t an issue. They look a lot more expensive than the price would lead you to believe. I’d recommend, for sure!

If you are looking for a solid good looking flatware set the the Home Decorators Collection Brenner 20-Piece Stainless Steel with Copper Finish Flatware Set (Service for 4) is a flatware set you should look at. The flatware comes with a service for four and has a nice copper-gold finish and is a modern styling with a thin trimmed handles. The overall quality is good and after running them though the dishwasher a few times, they still look great. The thin handles might give some people an issue but I find them great.

The overall design is simple, sleek, and modern. The size of the various pieces is perfect, not too large or too small. They have a nice, heavy weight to them and don’t feel cheap. The copper finish is uniform and quite pleasing. I am very happy with this flatware set and highly recommend it!

Kudos to Home Depot and the manufacturer for reducing the packaging for this Brenner flatware set. All pieces are considerably thick and nearly unbendable. The grade is 18/0, which simply means there is no nickel content. The benefit of nickel is primarily an extra rust inhibitor. If you just wash and dry these pieces, rust will not be a concern. The smaller fork and spoon size are compatible with younger children’s needs. The handles have a smooth polished finish and provide a comfortable grip. Without all that extra design stuff, the polished appearance is easy to maintain (you really don’t have to do anything). Excellent for everyday use and certainly good enough for your dinner guests. Very recommended product.

As a family of 6, it seems like we’re always running out of forks and spoons. I was looking for an inexpensive, but quality flatware set for our every day use. Since I was hoping to intermix it with our current flatware, I was looking for a basic pattern with clean lines. I was so happy to find this flatware set.The handles are very basic and not too ornate–a great complement to our existing flatware set. This 20 piece service for 4 flatware set is really unique in the coloring and has a beautiful sheen to them. These copper finished stainless steel are medium weight and have a simple design. The handles are solid and the knives are all one piece as well. The salad fork is the smaller of the two forks and has short tines than many other sets I have. The spoons have an average depth to them and knives are average thickness. Really adds to the table insomuch as the color pops, in my opinion. Easy to hold and use the narrow handles. Washes well in the dishwasher. Comes in a small box with each piece individually wrapped.
