Excellent quality all wood drawer dividers. But only work perfect on the specified drawer size without customization. The dividers will work fabulously in a drawer that has inside dimensions slightly over 15 ¾ wide X 19 ¾ long X 2 7/8 in depth. The pics show the drawer dividers in a (24 ¼ wide X 21 long X 2 ½ deep) drawer. We thought that since the width and length was larger it would work out OK. But they do not look as nice as they would if they were in a drawer the correct depth. In our case we need to cut them down 1/8 of an inch to make them look nice. The drawer functions OK but the appearance is not that great. If you want a drop-in option, make sure your drawer is the correct size, or a just a little bit bigger. The instructions from the manufacturer Step 1 say “Using a table saw cut width of insert to fit inside of drawer”. This eliminates a lot of DIYers and homeowners WITHOUT access to a table saw. Another alternative for the manufacturer would be to make a DIYer drawer kit, that fits a wider range of drawer sizes. You would have to make some cuts, but NOT with a table saw. You could use a circular saw, or a hand saw. This way you would always have a perfect fit. Likely this would bring down the price as well.Another option for advanced DIYer is to buy your own wood and make your own dividers. Home Depot has a great selection of wood. The quality gets a five plus. The fit gets a three. Our rating is a four.

I didn’t think it would be fair for me to write a negative review about a well made product like these utensil dividers, just because I didn’t do my homework before getting them. But I wanted to make you aware that they don’t fit in all the kitchen cabinet drawers out there. And no I am not taking about the width. If you buy these, you will have to cut them down to fit perfectly. You will need a table-saw to cut them nice and straight. I am talking about the height. My drawers are too shallow. Even though my kitchen isn’t that old, my drawers are only 2-3/4″ deep (check out my picture for more clarification). The dividers are 2-7/8″. So they won’t fit in any of my top drawers. So make sure you measure the inside of your drawers like my picture shows before buying these. I just assumed they fit and I couldn’t find the height listed anywhere on the ad.Okay now lets talk about the quality of these dividers. The finish is flawless. They sand them to and nice polished surface and then spray on a clear-coat which enhances the beauty of the natural wood. If they would have fit they would have looked outstanding. It would have given my box kitchen a custom look. So just remember, measure twice and cut once.

The natural Maple finish closely matched the finish of our cabinets, making the tray divider blend with the drawer. The length was about 3/4 inch too long, but was easy to cut with a circular saw. The width was large enough to accommodate the kitchen utensils we had on hand. The divider is held in place by gravity and securely holds the utensils in place.

A very well made and stylish drawer divider. i used the larger one for my 24″ drawer. this narrower model will be perfect for my rolling island. the wood is beautiful and put together nicely. it comes with instructions on how to cut it to size if needed. you can cut the depth (i had to do this with my larger model as it was too “long” for the drawer) or you can cut the width for narrower drawers. i would highly recommend this incredibly well made product.
