For the price, this is a good wok. You do have to do a thorough scrubbing to get the factory sealant off and then season it to keep it from rusting and to get a non stick (though not as non stick as PTFE, but that has its own problems) surface. Look up how to take care of a carbon steel wok on your favorite search engine to ensure such a wok doesn’t rust. It does take time for the seasoning to build up to get the perfect coating.I use this over a charcoal chimney starter with a grate over it as well as our electric stove. It was initially seasoned over charcoal though.

The pan size is good, not too heavy. Did not like that the handle is loose. Also, the hanging apparatus on the end is at an angle. The seasoning process was a mess, despite that, we have been able to cook with it.
