This is a very handy cord to have. I use Lightroom Tethering and EOS Utility often, and this is always nice to have around when you need some extra space between the camera and computer.

An easy way to bring a USB 2.0 input up to right beside your monitor. If you use a flash drive or external hard drive, it is very handy to have a cable handy on your desk rather than fish around at floor level to plug it in. However, remember this is only an extension. If you use an external hard drive, you must have the proper USB cable plugged into it.
