With a Full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution display, the EliteDisplay E243 23.8″ 16:9 IPS Monitor from HP allows viewers to see their movies, videos, photos, documents, and more with enhanced clarity. In addition to a Full HD display, this monitor also features a 1000:1 contrast ratio, a 250 cd/m² brightness rating, a 5 ms response time, and support for up to 16.7 million colors. Setting up the EliteDisplay E243 is simple as it comes equipped with DisplayPort, HDMI, and VGA inputs as well as USB 3.0 connectivity to plug USB compatible peripherals directly into the monitor. Once configured, the display can be tilted, swiveled, and the height adjusted for maximum viewing comfort.

I purchased this after after my old monitor died. Shipping took about 10 days after order was replaced, however, that just meant I got it on my birthday. It’s three days later and I’ve just been able to put everything together. If you’re someone who needs written instructions, then you will struggle a bit because the instructions are pictures only. Also, I’m not sure if this monitor has sound or not?? I still have my speakers from my other computer, but would like to have this verified. Also, my mouse works, but my HP keyboard does no(keyboard error during start up). Thank you.

This is an excellent monitor for the price. It is the right size for good resolution at 1080. The functionality of the stand (adjustments) is great. The only negative is they should have provided some cable management holder on the rear of the stand. Also I wish they would have provided more USB outputs. You go from 1 input to 2 outputs (not much of a gain).

The display on this monitor is great! The screen itself is a perfect size, and the monitor just looks clean and sleek – i’m a big fan of the silver finish, I feel like so many electronics only come in black these days. The stand allows the monitor to be positioned and moved easily, which is a plus! It has a cool rotating screen feature, which I’ve only tried to use once, but the stand allowing so much movement really helps! The picture is also very clear. I look at a screen most of the day, I really think a clear, vibrant screen helps! The price point on this monitor is also a plus.

Wow what an upgrade this is from my old monitor! I work from home using a laptop and 2 display monitors that are ancient. I love how much space I’m saving with this one and how clean and modern it looks! I have to use multiple screens for different programs and spreadsheets. If you are looking for style, great graphic and amazing size, then this HP EliteDisplay E243 23.8-inch Monitor is a must have. At my current job, I have to have at least 3 monitors so that I can have access to all sort of things. I love the fact that I can actually take one monitor and do the work in just two monitors, because of the size of this monitor and the quality is like having two screens together. From LED backlight, to allowing you to connect to physically anything that has an HDMI this monitor deserves two thumbs up. Highly recommend. The pricing is actually very good vs. other brands. Think about this monitor as your usual monitor, but double the size and super charged with one of the most finest displays I’ve seen in monitors.
