With a Full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution display, the EliteDisplay E243 23.8″ 16:9 IPS Monitor from HP allows viewers to see their movies, videos, photos, documents, and more with enhanced clarity. In addition to a Full HD display, this monitor also features a 1000:1 contrast ratio, a 250 cd/m² brightness rating, a 5 ms response time, and support for up to 16.7 million colors. Setting up the EliteDisplay E243 is simple as it comes equipped with DisplayPort, HDMI, and VGA inputs as well as USB 3.0 connectivity to plug USB compatible peripherals directly into the monitor. Once configured, the display can be tilted, swiveled, and the height adjusted for maximum viewing comfort.

Monitor came with all cables and was simple to install. The base is much sturdier than my other HP and Acer monitors. The base allows for height adjustments as well as tilt. The tilt doesn’t allow much adjustment but height does. All controls are easily accessible from the front, not like my other HP monitor that has them in the back of the monitor. Overall I am very satisfied. The delivery was exactly as mentioned on the B&H web site.

The HP EliteDisplay E243 23.8-inch Monitor was easy to put together and snapped in place with no tools required, also provides every cable that you would need for both display and USB hub and even extra ones. The base is durable enough and holds the monitor just right. It has great ergonomic features such as light weight, tilt and height adjustment, swivels from left to right easily. The frame is very stylish and I like that it is made thin so the visual field is a wide format which fills up the entire screen. Very easy to select a comfortable setting, large screen with a clear view. The HP EliteDisplay monitor is very sleek and modern looking and takes up less desk space. My overall thoughts it functions and performs well, designed stylish, has great features, is made with good quality and durability that will last a long time!

I bought this monitor because I will be doing remote learning this semester for college and my tiny 13″ laptop screen was not cutting it. I was really nervous that it wouldn’t be compatible with the retina display on the 2019 MacBook Air, but the colors look fantastic and the pixelation is very minimal on the display. It comes with and HDMI and vga cord so you can choose how you want to input your laptop, but I recommend using the HDMI, as the picture quality is greater. The monitor itself is sleek looking and it matches perfectly with my silver laptop. I think the price point is fantastic for what you get.

I received the monitor 3 days ago which replaced a similar one which was 10 years old. Easy set up though I thought the minimalist picture directions enclosed were not very helpful but the etched labels on the mounting device were invaluable. I did not realize that default setting was to chime every time a message reached my computer and adjusting some of the input/output settings were not intuitive. A basic, good monitor for at home work.
