For copying and scanning the unit has a 1200 dpi CSI scanner, and for multi-page documents the ADF has a 35-sheet capacity.
Equipped with built-in Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity the 9015e can be added to an existing network with ease, and all of these settings and modes can be intuitively accessed via the 2.65″ Color Graphic Display (CGD) touchscreen on the front panel. Wi-Fi Direct features allow users to connect directly from mobile devices for immediate printing needs, while it is compatible with many services for working seamlessly with a variety of devices. For those desiring a direct, simple connection a USB 2.0 port is available.
This is an HP Plus enabled printer. It comes with 6 months free ink through HP Plus. Choose HP Plus at product setup to activate benefits and get six months of free ink. HP will then automatically send you new ink when you run low.

It is bulky and ugly looking. It makes lots of noises when it prints. The platform where the printed paper comes out on, cannot be lifted to add more paper. I have to pull out the paper tray to add paper. It does print very well, but I miss my old printer.

Bought this printer to replace another HP small office multi function printer that had worn out overtime. This printer was easy to set up fit the space nicely prints well and the HP instant Inc. offer sure helps it be a nice and convenient set up. We like it. Didn’t give full five stars because like all other brands of printers, a smal low cost printers like this are not built to last a long time, only a few years. The same goes for this printer, however it is made well enough if you’re careful and keep it clean, it is well worth it.

Really like how quickly this prints and ease of use with the app. App and features make it super easy to interface with regardless of where I’m at in the house. Didn’t like having to troubleshoot right after setting it up due to a known issue with this printer (a port issue apparently, in my case). Had to uninstall and reinstall a couple times to get the updates. Last complaint, the gets stuck in the output tray without fully releasing. If not for these, I’d give it a solid 5. Overall, I am happy about this purchase.

The printer automatically prints both sides of the paper on its own. It is fast, it hasn’t jammed yet, the print is very sharp and the touch pad display is clear and has easy to follow instructions. I did have problems setting it up as it defaults to the set up fir a phone or tablet rather than a desktop or laptop. Once I figured that out, it was a very simple installation.

It is a good printer for the price. It is enough printer for anyone not printing many pages daily and should work well for almost any home office. It prints reasonably good prints of photographs but not the fines at quality nor is it the fastest all in one printer. It is very easy to use and the HP smart software is very easy to learn and use. Much improved from printers of the past.

I’m not pleased with this printer. It is loud – much louder than my last two HP printers. It sounds clunky like something is broken, but it isn’t. And it does not scan 11×14 like my old HP printer. And it frequently “needs attention,” making printing unreliable.

It took me five days to finally be able to print something. The ink cartridges were extremely difficult to install. They would just pop out. This was the first issue, then the setup came next. This is NOT a user friendly printer. HP has made it so difficult to install. This will be my last purchase of any HP products

So far love this printer. It replaced a Canon printer I bought 2 years ago to replace my HP printer & I hated the Canon printer – a piece of junk & not user-friendly. This printer prints so much faster holds more paper in the paper tray & I love HP Plus. Sticking to HP from now on!

Thinking we should go ink tank, initially I bought an Epson Ecotank 3850. After 10 hours of trying to get it to pair with our home network sitting right next to the router, I finally caved in, returned it and followed Wircutter’s recommendation to replace our old HP 8720 with the 9015e, All in One. The build quality is not close to the 8720 and the floppy output tray is a very poor design. That said, 25 minutes after unboxing, the printer was up and running, printing from our iPhones, iPad, laptop, and desktop from anywhere in our house (router is supported by an extendar). This is an HP Plus printer which provides 6 months of free ink, and offers a low cost ink subscription program. It is a good unit worth a look for anyone with a small business or home office requiring an All in One printer.

I haven’t tried all of the functions of this new printer, but what I have has not disappointed. I’m eager to email directly to it and try to fax from it.
