Save space, time, and resources with the wireless capable OfficeJet Pro 8035e All-in-One Inkjet Printer from HP, which packs printing, scanning, copying, and faxing into a single unit. This basalt-colored model has a 225-sheet paper tray for handling large jobs and is eligible, through HP Plus, for HP’s Instant Ink Program , so users will always have a fresh cartridge when needed. At its core, the 8035e is an excellent printer with a max print resolution of 4800 x 1200 dpi and high-quality ISO print speeds as fast as 29 ppm in black and 25 ppm in color in draft mode. Borderless printing is available on documents up to 8.5 x 11″ and for printing non-borderless documents the printer accepts media up to 8.5 x 14″. For copying and scanning the unit has a 1200 dpi CSI scanner, and for multi-page documents the ADF has a 35-sheet capacity.
Equipped with built-in Wi-Fi, USB and Ethernet connectivity the 8035e can be added to an existing network with ease, and all of these settings and modes can be intuitively accessed via the 2.7″ color touchscreen on the front panel. Wi-Fi Direct features allow users to connect directly from mobile devices for immediate printing needs, while it is compatible with many services for working seamlessly with a variety of devices. The printer is immediately eligible for HP’s Instant Ink Program which, for a small monthly fee, allows users to automatically have their printer notify HP when it is running low on ink in order to have a fresh cartridge shipped to your door. This system guarantees that you will always have a cartridge ready to go and keeps you from needing to constantly monitor ink levels.
This is an HP Plus enabled printer. It comes with 6 months free ink through HP Plus. Choose HP Plus at product setup to activate benefits and get six months of free ink. HP will then automatically send you new ink when you run low.

I have an HP OJP 8610 that I have been really impressed by. I just put in new HP Instant Ink cartages and miraculously I am now getting a persistent printhead error. Oh well, it was a good run, let’s give a new printer a go. The 8035e arrived and I have so say my initial impression was disappointment. It feels cheap, the scan lid is not supported and slams shut (not the case on the 8610). It has less features, set up was a pain and I spent at least two hours trying to figure out how to even make some features available. I am locked out by the admin. Am I not the admin? It looks nice but my old printer is a much better machine. Better materials, better attention to detail, more features. Not sure if I am going to keep the new one or replace the printhead on my old.

I personally do not like this unit. It is extremely slow and does not allow for the speed I need. Also, I have not received my ink which has run out. I personally like HP’s and thought that this was an upgrade from my 8600, it is not. I would love to be able to return and get an upgrade. This being said I do not recommend this model.

My Office Jet Pro 8710 recently gave up on life, so I thought that the 8035 would be comparable. The 8035 is nice looking with clean lines but is so painfully slow that I hope that it gives up on printer life sooner than later.

It does not scan multiple pages from the feeder. It does not scan from the feeder, period. And you can only copy one page at a time from the feeder. All scans are jps, which is extremly unhelpful.

If I could have given the printer 4 1/2 stars, I would have. This printer is everything I hoped for except one small thing. If you want to print a picture on picture paper (any size smaller than printer paper) you have to remove the regular paper all together and than resize the feeder and add the picture paper. In my previous hp printer, I could have two sizes of paper in the printer at the same time. Since I don’t print pictures all that often, I can live with this. It does mean I have to take the time to change the paper whenever I print from my cell phone where before I could print a picture from a different place or room in my house.

I really like the new HP printer. It is taking time to learn the new features as I was so accustomed to the old one. The only complaint that I have is why is the area where the paper comes out so short. The papers end up on top of the tab that sticks out and do not lay flat like the other printers we have had??
