Save space, time, and resources with the wireless capable OfficeJet Pro 8035e All-in-One Inkjet Printer from HP, which packs printing, scanning, copying, and faxing into a single unit. This basalt-colored model has a 225-sheet paper tray for handling large jobs and is eligible, through HP Plus, for HP’s Instant Ink Program , so users will always have a fresh cartridge when needed. At its core, the 8035e is an excellent printer with a max print resolution of 4800 x 1200 dpi and high-quality ISO print speeds as fast as 29 ppm in black and 25 ppm in color in draft mode. Borderless printing is available on documents up to 8.5 x 11″ and for printing non-borderless documents the printer accepts media up to 8.5 x 14″. For copying and scanning the unit has a 1200 dpi CSI scanner, and for multi-page documents the ADF has a 35-sheet capacity.
Equipped with built-in Wi-Fi, USB and Ethernet connectivity the 8035e can be added to an existing network with ease, and all of these settings and modes can be intuitively accessed via the 2.7″ color touchscreen on the front panel. Wi-Fi Direct features allow users to connect directly from mobile devices for immediate printing needs, while it is compatible with many services for working seamlessly with a variety of devices. The printer is immediately eligible for HP’s Instant Ink Program which, for a small monthly fee, allows users to automatically have their printer notify HP when it is running low on ink in order to have a fresh cartridge shipped to your door. This system guarantees that you will always have a cartridge ready to go and keeps you from needing to constantly monitor ink levels.
This is an HP Plus enabled printer. It comes with 6 months free ink through HP Plus. Choose HP Plus at product setup to activate benefits and get six months of free ink. HP will then automatically send you new ink when you run low.

The new 8035e took a bit of time to setup–called HP, but, the issue was the WIFI signal. Once defined, and the use of SCAN was installed– I now have a system to copy pages, sent to me as PDF or to others. My old HP was not yet taken out–so we compared the time to get the print signal (5 pages-2-sided)-color, and stop. The NEW HP was 30 seconds faster- clear letters and fine lines stood out. The individual color ink vs the signal source has advantages–but, you need HP to send you the color inks–as they run out depending on the use ( TECHNICAL PAPERS/PHOTOS). The new HP also starts faster–when off (on waiting) to start/accept/print . One issue is the paper tray to receive printed pages– they get stacked, and fold–need slightly longer 2nd tray–3″. Overall the new HP has functional advantages.

So far the machine has been running well. The issue that I run into most of the time is the software… I wish HP did not tie a software package that is pretty much needed to do scan and other things. That is very annoying. When I circumvent that program, the machine run great.

This model seems to be made cheaply. I had an officepro 8600 and was quite happy with it but unfortunately you don’t keep up with Apple updates. This one has a smaller paper holder and if I fill it up the paper gets stuck. The drawer sticks. Software seems ok. It’s been scanning and printing ok. Seamlessly. I just don’t feel that this machine is as good as the one I had.

I’m disappointed in this printer. The paper feeder is not the best and I can’t get the scanner to work on the printer itself; have to use my computers HP Smart. Wish they had the one I had before in a newer version. It was also very hard to get set up.

Great copies, has great features, and doesn’t take up much room. I have a MAC, and I was hoping to be able to scan directly to my e mail, instead of having to go through the 123 app every time, scan, go to my files and send it that way. Takes way too many steps to do it this way. My old HP printer all in one directly sent it to my e mail. I don’t see an e mail set-up option.

HP products have degraded over the years. What once were purchases based on an expectation of quality and reliability is now a dread HP has cheapened it’s HP printer brand. The 8035e chews through ink faster than you can say “printer”. If you choose to buy this printer be prepared to budget for monthly ink refills.

I want to tell everyone that this NEW Printer {Combined with my NEW HP Desktop PC} IS the ‘finest’ & most WONDERFUL HP Electronic Product System I’ve EVER had the JOY & PLEASURE of working on. The construction of it is very fragile. I am afraid I am going to break something opening the top door, or the paper tray. I had to return the first one because the power button did not work and would not shut off the printer. I think the quality has definitely degraded over time from my 8600 series printer. Some attention should be given to a more rugged construction on moving parts.
