The ENVY Pro 6455e has a maximum color print resolution of 4800 x 1200 optimized dpi and can print at speeds up to 10 ppm and 7 ppm for black and color prints, respectively. A flatbed and 35-sheet ADF scanner allow for scanning and copying documents up to 8.5 x 11.7″, and the unit makes up to nine copies at a time. Built-in wireless capabilities let you access, print, and share resources, and with the HP Smart app you print, scan, and copy everyday documents from your smartphone. Additionally, you can scan to email and cloud services, and self-healing Wi-Fi automatically detects and resolves connectivity issues to help reduce interruptions.
This is an HP Plus enabled printer. It comes with 6 months free ink through HP Plus. Choose HP Plus at product setup to activate benefits and get six months of free ink. HP will then automatically send you new ink when you run low. This system guarantees that you will always have a cartridge ready to go and keeps you from needing to constantly monitor ink levels.

I have owned and loved HP printers for decades, but I HATE THIS PRINTER. More specifically, I hate the software interface required to run it. The software frequently locks up and I have to restart it and sometimes I have to restart my laptop. The thing I hate the most is the default two-sided printing – which I can’t seem to turn off. Even when I specifically click “off” two-sided printing it still prints on both sides. The only sure fire solution I have found is to print one page at a time! Do not waste your money or your sanity on this Piece of Junk.

It says easy set up, it took 3days then the up support person to do it remote saying it would be to difficult to explain. Then once I got it working it would fold the corners of the paper over about every 3rd sheet jam up at least once every print job, and lastly although it was connected to the internet all the time it kept saying it was offline.It would show error codes but had no way of telling what they ment

I bought this a couple of months ago. Good for basic printing. After 2 months, the machine decided to go offline and couldn’t connect to internet. After several hours with Tech support from HP, they got it online. They also tried to get me going using the document feeder. The document feeder is very touchy. On my old HP printer I had no difficulty using the feeder. This one is touch and go. When I have time I am going to call HP again to see if anything can be done. Documents sometimes go through and sometimes they just sit there in the feeder. Doesn’t matter if it is just copying or scanning, document feeder is touchy.

Very pleased with my new HP printer. It’s a sleek design with a pretty small footprint compared to most printers on the market. It prints well but what I love most about HP printers is the Instant Ink program. This is my 2nd HP printer because of the program.

We bought the new envy printer Because it came highly recommended by the sales clerk at the sales clerk. Ordered it online everything came in easy and easy-peasy went to set up was up was a big struggle if you live in a small world community he don’t always have the best Wi-Fi thank goodness I still kept my ether cord From the old printer. Or we would have never gotten it hooked up. It is now running just fine haven’t had too much problem we did get kicked off of the Internet for a while due to a power loss but after a little bit of a struggle and a lot of help from the online help service which is awesome or up and running I’ve been running. Overall have not had any problems now. Not sure I would recommend this particular printer for seniors who don’t have a lot of experience with the Internet.. As it could definitely be a struggle for you

waste of money, really. it can’t print on both sides… every other time the paper would stuck inside when printer is trying to print on both sides, Super stupid and loud overall. It takes forever to print 1 page. Constant problems with paper jam.

1st I’ve bought HP printers and scanners since the 90s. I bought this to replace a Lexmak printer/ scanner combo which took years to stop working. Constant problems with this printer since I purchased it a year ago: It goes offline all the time – no on/off switch so must unplug and plug it back in when installing, doesn’t tell you to install via your desktop/laptop only via your phone This causes and issue with the applications on the desktop as the printer takes a long time to recognize the process or doesn’t recognize it all But the big one. I just purchased new ink a few months ago and I’m not printing that much. Now the black ink doesn’t print (it did a few weeks ago). Is it the printer head or did the ink dry up that quickly (in 20 years I’ve never seen Ink dry up that quick)? I needed a document printed today thinking it would work and all I get is nothing printing via the black in and I cannot set it to print just with colors because it then doesn’t recognize the paper size. (???) These problems have been like this since day 1 and I’ve had the printer for a year. I wish I could return it.
