The envy printer was priced well. I love the compact size, ease of setup & overall quality.

Not as good as previously owned Envy 4650. Light does not turn off automatically and page catcher does not extend automatically. Overall a more awkward machine. Buttons more cryptic. Envy 4650 much more intuitive. But so far prints good copies.

This printer is only capable of single page transactions. So, if you scan or print groups of documents; this takes too much time for small business.

I found the HP 6455 e just a little difficult to load; but not too bad. The instructions on paper could have been a tad clearer and the graphics on screen had a tendency for critical spots to slide outside my screen bottom. But once I realized this it went smoothly. I have been very impressed with machines versatility and ease of use once loaded. I was so impressed I recommended this printer to my neighbor. Then I had to come over and help her load. Unfortunately no matter what I did I could not get her computer to connect wirelessly to the printer. It could not find the printer. Eventually as a stopgap I used a printer wire and connected that way. There is nothing wrong with her computer as I was able to wirelessly connect to an expensive Xerox printer she had. She bought new printer because connection to Xerox was not working. Now she has two printers, one wireless. Some day when I have more enthusiasm I may try and connect her Hp again She Is 79 and unless her son connects it she isn’t going to. When she wants to read articles on internet she prints them.

The design of the HP ENVY 6455e is sleek & aesthetically appealing; I really appreciate the flat top instead of the intrusive paper-feed top tray. The printer is quiet while in operation and suits my needs to a “T”. The downside is that the instructions are extremely limited, and it is frustrating to troubleshoot when a problem arises. Example: I experienced a paper jam but there were no instructions in the booklet as to how to clear it, and nothing under the online HP help site. Had I have not had tons of experience with printers, I would probably still be sitting here unable to use the machine. Another problem I encountered when first trying to use the copier was it would not print from my computer, nor some of the things I tried to print from my phone. It took quite a few power off/power on attempts and some investigating to figure out what was wrong. Again, the booklet/HP site were of no avail.

I love my new printer. It is easy to use, prints quickly and does two sided printouts which is wonderful! It is also small and easy on the eyes.

Love the printer. The quality is good. You can’t beat free ink! Double sided print is super helpful. No jamming or other issues so far. It works well with all kinds of paper. I’ve used standard copy paper all the way up to cardstock and no problems. Speed of printing is good too. Not as fast as a large office printer but plenty fast for home use.

I am very pleased with this printer! It’s easy to operate and the print quality is much better than the last printer I had.

I purchased this printer several months ago, set up using the app per instructions. After adding the printer to several computers, I found that when I need to print from a computer that the printer was never online requiring it to be powered off/on to print anything. Today I tried to print and cannot get anything to print. The printer is online, the print job shows up in the spooler, just nothing printing. I followed online troubleshooting guide to default the settings in the printer and now it is flashing an E9 error and I cannot get it to do anything. Printer and support suck. I would not buy this printer – look for a brand/model that doesn’t require connection through a mobile app to set up.

I was told that this printer was equivalent to my previous printer that had scanning capabilities but this one doesn’t

This printer is terrible. I cannot get the HPSmart app to work on my laptop. There’s no screen where you can check the status. The app tells me the status, such as “Offline” but guess what the app doesn’t have… a button to make the printer online. The printer flashes different colored lights at you. Would be nice if a screen told you what the colors mean but instead you either have to memorize it, keep the manual forever and always have it nearby or look up the meaning of the flashing lights pattern. Do not waste your money on this paperweight, just throw it straight out the window. This printer is terrible, not user-friendly, never goes online. I have to power cycle it multiple times whenever I need to print to get it to go online. Once I FINALLY get it online when I want to print I have to send the document to my PHONE from my laptop. So dumb, using valuable memory space, then go onto the wifi that the printer produces, then print only one doc at a time.

The new printer came with absolutely no operating instructions. There was no info included on how to print, scan or even check for ink status. I do not like that there isn’t a USB port or control panel to help operate the unit. Just ridiculous and very disappointing.

Got the Envy 6455e about 2 months ago and have used it quite a bit for my weekly Bible Study group, printing & copying materials for 10+ members (sometimes more or less). Never a problem! Also have it for personal use. Definitely worth it.
