It came with colored ink. Since colored ink is so expensive I choose to use only black ink. Only I have no idea how to do this. For me this is a complicated mess. I need something that is more user friendly.

I like my HP Printer and the quality of the printing it does, but seriously, by the time one spends the money for the third set of refill ink cartridges, they have doubled the cost of the entire printer system!! This does not seem like a “cost effective” long-term ownership situation.

now i can print in black at least. have not been able to print in color for most of my ownership.the tricolor hp cartridge i bought printed about 1 dozen pages before they ran low.color hasn’t been available for months.i wouldn’t recommend your printers even to an enemy
