   My printer gives me an error message when I use any different type of ink other than HP ink. This is corporate greed at its worst, and completely anti-consumer. Ink is ink, I shouldn’t have to care who’s logo is on the box. And I definitely should be warned before I buy the printer that it will only work with HP branded ink.

   With replacement ink there is always a question of what the printing quality will be but when using HP ink in HP products the quality is consistently good.

    I used to love HP printers and I bought this thinking the duplex printing would be nice. I am used to plug and play. Not so with this printer. I have an iMac…everything is geared to PC’s and it wants me to use google. There is not a hard copy of the manual, and not enough ink to print one. I DO NOT RECOMMEND HP any longer.

    the ink is fine a bit costly and I thought this was about the printer itself, which works fine, except for the software, very limited editing options have trouble shrinking photos to correct size to print but it has good quality prints… thanks.
