   I had to buy these because we ordered Z2’s without GPUs and then installed Quadro P4000’s after the fact. This triggered a chassis fan not found alert when booting. This kit resolved that alert and provides additional cooling for the GPU. In addition, the P4000 GPU (HP PN 1ME40AT) slides right into the guide, giving it extra stability. The fan is very quiet but I haven’t tested it yet under heavy GPU load so it may get louder. My only gripe about this kit is that the power cable for the fan could have been about 1 longer. It would have also been nice if it came standard with the Z2 since most people are going to add a GPU.

   It was a hot summer and although we have air conditioning it doesn’t evenly cool the place.

   All four mounts line up perfectly, the fan cable is just the right length, and arrived in only a few days.
