This dock is perfect for my MacBook. It is designed well and has everything you need; a built-in USB-c to connect to the computer, a power supply, and inputs for USB, D-ports, HDMI, and ethernet. Just one USB-c cable connects me to all my devices and displays. It’s the perfect work companion for your office or home office.

I was previously using a J5 Create dock, but my monitors would often flicker, and it would take a while before my HP G5 EliteBook could get up a running in the morning. Everything powers up immediately with this new HP docking station. I also like the small footprint and multiple USB ports, including USB-C on the front. I’ve only had it for a couple of weeks, but hopefully it turns out to be durable, because I use it every day for work.

The hub won’t allow me to broadcast to multiple monitors thru the USB-C port. Tried everything-drivers, updates, adapters, etc, even had tech support to no avail. Wish it had worked out. I like the compact nature of the device. Need to return it.

I’ve gone through a bunch of unpowered USB-C adaptors, but the trouble is that it ends up being yet another device with a tonne more cables attached to it. What I love with this USB-C Dock is that you can get rid of many of those cables, adaptors, and plugs. At 100W it can power your laptop meaning you can leave your laptop charger at home (or at work.) The cube is slightly bigger than I expected – it’s about twice as tall and a little larger than a Macbook Pro charger, and quite a bit heavier so it’s not going to be something I carry around, but rather leave plugged in at my workstation so I DON’T my charger around.) That said it’s still relatively compact compared to other models. I plugged in my mouse, keyboard and monitor, everything worked seamlessly. I didn’t have a second monitor in my home setup but you can actually power up to 3 screens with this unit (there are two DisplayPort connectors and one HDMI port.) I love that there are four USB 3.0 connectors) two on the side, two on the back. I’m sure as is the case with most of us, in addition to a mouse and keyboard we usually have a bunch of phones and devices to charge as well. I like this enough I plan to get another one so I can leave one at home and one at work! While there are cheaper models out there they usually have less ports and plugs and lower power to the system, so it’s worth the investment.

The HP docking station simplifies the process of connecting a notebook computer to a power supply, a wired network, and peripherals. The electrical connections and locking mechanisms in the docking station are designed so that the notebook can be lowered evenly into position. Perfect for use any home or in the office. I also use it with my other type c devices

I bought this a month ago and love it so far! I live in a small apartment in Chicago so I am unable to have a large desk. The compact 5 x 5 design saves me plenty of space while providing more than enough power for my laptop and external display. I currently have one screen but am looking to add more so I can utilize the single cable solution! Also a nice touch that this works with macbooks as well as windows notebooks.

Great tool which enhances my work efficency. I have connected all my old devices like 2 monitors, keyboard and mouse to this dock which they worked greatly without any problem.

I purchased this a month ago to improve my work at home set up. Works well, not a big and bulky as my previous HP docking station. However, price was high.

Docking station did not work with my HP laptop. This is unacceptable. I need a refund or a better product that works. Notification states, “Display Connection might be limited”. If it’s limited then why sell it? Please help.
