It’s a little heavy but that’s just the stand so you can rotate it. Love that it telescopes and move up and down.

With my husband working from home and having issues switching his work and personal laptops to his single HP 27ea, I surprised him with the E223d. The fact he can dock his work laptop to it with a single USB Type-C has been a godsend since it kept his desk neat and tidy. He’s basically a luddite and hates doing cabling so with this solution he’s a happy camper…and so am I since I don’t have to be his ‘IT consultant’ quite as much as I used to. PLUS: Crisp, bright with great color fidelity and the ease of connection that makes living and working with it a simple delight. Oh, and the price is right too. MINUS: Speakerless (please do smaller monitors with them HP!), for 65 watts the power brick seems big and no Technicolor certification.

Monitor is very sleek and is a very good monitor to purchase for work purposes. It has all of the functionalities and ports on the back and includes a USB-C cable to boot which is very convenient. I do have to say that the monitor is small alone and it is very necessary to have a dual monitor setup when using this monitor. Overall, I would recommend this monitor for businesses. It is very easy to setup as well!

I like the thin silver bevel and the compact size, it fits nicely over my desk on a VESA arm. But the main functional reason I purchased it was for the single USB-C cable’s ability to carry power, ethernet & USB to the laptop and to send the video to the monitor – a one cable solution to de-clutter my desktop. But after 5 months the USB-C input no longer reads on the monitor. The Mac sees the monitor but the monitor reports inactive for USB-C input. Power & Ethernet still work into the laptop but I have to now use another laptop USB-C port to send to this monitor via HDMI. And to top it off, the mac is sending the pixels to this phantom monitor and if I’m not careful my mouse ends up lost somewhere in that monitors non-existent space. It’s also making the laptop run hot – pushing 3 monitors. Thoroughly annoying. The USB-C connection was always a little flakey, I needed to un-plug and replug after sleep to wake up the wired ethernet connection, but that was manageable. There’s some low level incompatibility. I tried a factory reset, no help. Will try a firmware upgrade when I have the time…. Mac owners beware.

This printer is bare bones. Takes very little paper is slow and will not print anything larger than 8X10 pages. I bought it because it was the only all-in-one HP printer able to fax.

I purchased this docking monitor with a Spectre 13″ Folio Laptop and have it connected via the Thunderbolt 120v HDMI Dock, with the HDMI adaptor. This is what you need. It is not an intrusive size has a very fast/sharp picture with lots of adjustments/settings onboard.
