Description
The Quick Release Bracket 2 from HP is a 100mm VESA-compliant LCD monitor mounting solution that lets you quickly and securely attach a flat panel monitor to a variety of stands, brackets, arms, and wall mounts. It can also be used to mount any combination of devices that are compatible with the 100mm VESA Flat Display Mounting Interface Standard, such as a monitor and a Thin Client system. However, the weight for all mounted devices cannot exceed 24 pounds. A failsafe “Sure-Lock” mechanism snaps the monitor or mounted device securely into place, and can be further secured with a theft-deterrent Quick Release “locking” screw. Also included are eight 10mm mounting screws for attachment to VESA-compliant monitor mounts, eight 15.5mm mounting screws for attachment to HP Thin Client products, and four 20mm mounting screws for attachment to the back of select HP LCD monitor stands.

These are designed to be a quick release mount for a monitor on a stand or a mini PC mount to a monitor. They work great for both of these uses. A third use we have found is a mini PC mount to a desk or wall. We mount many of our mini PC’s under the front of the desk for our users convenience. The way we do it they hang out about half an inch but it works great for the users. They also work well for mounting one behind a TV in conference rooms.

I’ve tried many visa q release mounts, these are the best I’ve purchased. Very easy to get to the release, it locks securely. I use my very heavy 5k mac on a mechanical arm, its great to switch to pc monitor fast.

Windows 10 Pro AiO PCs are unavailable. So, I built one for a client using this Quick Release Bracket. the fit was exact and the security screw was the frosting on the cake.
