A multifunctional unit for demanding workplaces, the Color LaserJet Pro MFP M182nw from HP offers printing, scanning, and copying functions to fulfill your imaging needs. This model produces sharp text and prints in black or color at speeds as fast as 17 ppm while supporting media sizes up to 8.5 x 14", and for handling media the printer comes equipped with a 150-sheet paper tray and a 100-sheet output tray. In addition to the two trays, the printer also comes equipped with a flatbed scanner. Optical scan resolution is an impressive 1200 dpi, and scan file formats include JPG, RAW (BMP), PNG, TIFF, and PDF. Copy speeds are as fast as 17 ppm for both black and color documents and up to 99 copies can be made at a time.
You can quickly check and change settings via the two-Line LCD with numeric keypad, and the unit offers USB 2.0 and Ethernet slots for connecting to a computer. Additionally, the M182nw features Wi-Fi connectivity, and the unit has mobile printing capability with Apple AirPrint, Mopria, HP ePrint, and the HP Smart App. Made to be durable, the all-in-one printer features a maximum monthly duty cycle of 30,000 pages, with a recommended volume between 150 and 1500 pages.

This printer is fantastic! The scan quality is great, as is the print quality. I had a little trouble getting all the functionality up and running, but I rebooted the printer and my Windows 10 computer and all was great.

I bought this printer for my summer home and it has never worked well, for me or my niece and nephew. It constantly won’t print without repeated unplugging and replugging in. Now I have a new Mac book pro and can’t connect with the printer because of “error: having trouble communicating with the printer. I hate it and wish I had never bought it. Also, disappointed that it doesn’t have 2 sided printing.

I wish I could give this printer a good review. I purchased it in June of 2020. It worked like a charm until two months ago. The printer will not stay connected to my wi-fi network. I connect it and it prints, then when I go to print a second file within seconds, it requires another connection to the wi-fi network. I am very disappointed, especially for the price paid. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I never used it it didn’t come with a driver cd and my computer could not get it on line If it would have a u s b slot for a drive it might have been useful I feel stuck with it

The printer, operationally is really terrific. I love it. But I have two issues. The control panel is not lighted except for a couple of indicators. Non of the keypad options, nor the color/BW copy buttons. That in itself is not an issue, but there is no contrast on the button. Icons are shiny black on dull black, the only way you can see the icon. Terrible in low light. Second major issue. As I read it seems on this newer printer HP has gone over the top in preventing you from using aftermarket toner. This is a MAJOR issue, to not let you use any other brand when HP toner is 2 1/2 times comparable toner that fits in the printer. I honestly would not mind paying a premium for HP toner if it were within reasonable percentages, 20 or more percent. But 250% is just way too much. I believe I am going to return the printer actually.

Installation is easy. Ink was already in. Used wps for wifi. Quality of printing is flawless. Quick & efficient. Colors are crisp and fine sharpness. Scans quickly, has a foam that presses on document to the glass panel. Buttons are pretty straightforward. A little loud while printing and some settings are hard to get to. I would rate it 9.5/10. Definitely a good fit for home and small office.
