Bought one of HPs color laser printer about a year ago. I wanted a laser printer cause we don’t do a lot of printing and ink jets dry up if not used often. Toner cartridges cost more than ink, but I can let my printer sit for weeks or months without printing and it will print with no problem after sitting that long. HP also has some of the best software around. Great user interface.

I purchased this printer on a recommendation that the color printing would be exceptional and I have not been disappointed. The only negative that I have found with it is that I also use it to print checks (3 up) and it will not print the 3rd check solo on a separate print job getting lost in the feeder…

I purchased this and several other color toner cartidges to replace the original toner cartidges in a new Laser Jet Pro printer I purchased only a few months ago for home use. The original cartidges lasted a much shorter time than expected. I don’t have an accurate count but believe the original cartidges were used for fewer than 1,000 pages of copies. Since these are quite expensive this was disappointing.

Typical HP “OEM” excellence in a toner cartridge, that can’t be outdone. Off-brands, obviously, are cheaper. And that really shows. Misaligned parts in the cartridge. Improper transfer of toner to fuser. Leaking toner. Need more be said? Certainly, you pay more for the ‘real thing’ from HP, but you get so much more. Plus the peace of mind that you have the very best in your printer.

I ordered a magenta and a black cartridge. I wanted to order a black two-pack, but you were sold out of that so I only ordered the one. Can’t say for sure that this particular cartridge works well. I usually use only HP products. Although this time toner cartridges are extremely expensive nearly double which has made owning this HP laser jet not nearly as economical. I found you can purchase the cartridges can at other sites the only issue is the printer will not read them. So it will not notify HP when you run out.
