Able to easily fit into smaller workspaces, the LaserJet Pro M227fdw All-in-One Monochrome Laser Printer from HP still manages to deliver outstanding speed as well as a multi-functional design that incorporates printing, scanning, copying, and faxing into a single unit. It will help your office deliver sharp documents with its 1200 x 1200 dpi resolution and can work quickly and efficiently at up to 30 ppm in simplex. Automatic duplex printing is also available at up to 18 ipm and the printer has built-in Wi-Fi connectivity and NFC for various mobile printing protocols, including tap-to-print.
Opening the door for scanning, copying, and faxing is the inclusion of the 8.5 x 11.7″ flatbed and a 35-sheet ADF that can work with media up to 8.5 x 14″ in size. General media handling is offered in two ways, either through the main 250-sheet input tray or a 10-sheet priority tray. Operation of the printer is intuitive through the 2.7″ touchscreen LCD and there is a front USB port for directly printing from or scanning to a portable drive. Additionally, it offers USB 2.0 and Ethernet, in addition to the wireless options.

I bought this two weeks ago for my wife. It is without a doubt the easiest out of the box to set up and get running of any wireless printer I have owned. It automatically finds the router, you enter the password to the router and you are done. It is ready for use by your phone, tablet, laptop or desktop. Autoduplex printing, copy, scan are plus features. I also aquired the 3 year replacement warranty.

Every HP printer I have owned before this printer worked perfectly out of the box with every Mac I have owned. This printer is undiscoverable by Mac Computers. The only solution is to install a bunch of bloat-ware from HP. I am very disappointed, this will be the last HP printer I buy.

Received the printer with a bad toner Cartridge, connected on HP online chat, went trough their troubleshooting (1 hour) and they shipped a new cartridge after waiting 10 days. Now this printer is working great. 1200DPI, scan to email with paper loader, nothing is missing. Any other brands will give you Censored when something goes wrong, not HP… I bought thousands of HP’s and a few other brands to try, always went back to HP even if it is sometimes a few dollar more… Please keep up the good job.

I do like the touchscreen and the extra paper tray. I needed a printer with multi-function use of the scanner/copier features and the addition of wi-fi printing has been a nice addition as well. I was looking for a home office multi-function printer to replace our aging laserjet printer. Cost was a major factor after of course quality. The printer was easy to setup. My wife loves the ability to be able to printer from her smart phone wirelessly as she is a real-estate agent and needs to print out documents at a moment’s notice. We have the printer setup on our home wireless network, but the printer can also be accessed via peer to peer wireless connection which is nice. I have now purchased three of theses for my office where it makes better since to buy a networkable printer than pay for the milage of the employee’s walking back and forth too many times daily. Scanning feature is great for this and that, pluss you can put the file anywhere on your LAN. Works great, will see how durable these are, time will tell.
