Bought this cartridge with a Black High Yield (564XL) as well. After installation the printer would not print out black color. Checked cartridge installation and noticed vents on new cartridges smaller than originals. Cleaned out vents as instructed by HP Printer Diagnostics. Printer still not working. Not sure if cartridges the issue or the printer, eventually bought new printer. Had no issue with previous cartridge purchase.

This Ink Cartridge my say 564 but it’s to small to fit in my print for the black. Photo black is the as small as the color cartridge and won’t fit in the slot for the black. I had to go and purchase one from a retail store and paid more.

I am troubled by the fact that the above black ink photo cartridge could not be used with my hp6525. Its incompatible. Why don’t you make this info available so a person does have to spend time and money on a part that cannot be used.

I recently purchased 6 cartridges # 564. One of those was a 564 photo.that does not fit on my printer photosmart 6520. This photo cartridge does not fit in the “T” slot of the printer—opposite side of the latch—, because the cartridge has the “T” upsidedown.
