I bought a 564 (photo) cartridge for my b210 printer to replace the 564 cartridge previously in the printer. The new cartridge could not be installed. Further investigation showed that the (photo) version is only for 5 cartridge printers, not the 4 cartridge type like the b210. The (photo) designation is not obvious on the package and, in any event, would not have raised an alarm. IT IS INEXPLICABLE THAT HP WOULD USE THE SAME MODEL NUMBER FOR INCOMPATIBLE ITEMS. THIS IS MY LAST HP PRODUCT. I am VERY UNHAPPY

When you buy the black ink cartridges 564 it doesn’t really indicate the size. You have to have the smaller one to print pictures. If you buy the XL bigger cartridge to save money as black gets used the most, you can not use it to print pictures. Not a good feature since I bought this specifically for pictures.

This print cartridge is necessary if you have a 5 cartridge photosmart printer, but isn’t included in any print cartridge packages. It must be bought separately for the printer to print in both black and white and color. It should come with print cartridge packages. I don’t know why they make you buy it separately.

All the 564 cartridges in the printer go dry without printing anthing. I’ve had to replaced cartridges after only printing a few pages over a couple months.

I am returning these two useless cartridges. It is probably not the cartridges fault but my printer that cannot decide if I have a bad yellow or black cartridge. When I seem to repair one the other sounds an alarm. This Photosmart 7525 must be dead and to think that I have spent more on ink then I paid for the darn thing, what an idiot!

The HP 564 is an inexpensive printer. But it does the job. Wireless, printer, scans and copies. Prints both sides. Will print from iPhone and iPad as well as computer. The ink has vibrant colors. Very clear. Would recommend using HP ink over refills. The refills liable to leak. Using original HP ink, the printer will tell how much ink is left. The pack gives you photo paper, and envelopes. B&H it appears has the lowest price for HP564 ink. Get the ink from B&H.

I just read interviews from others who most say ink doesn’t last a long time.I find it to last a long time. My black ink expired before I could use it up. I don’t print hundreds of photos a day but some times more than other days. I use bo5h the standard and the XL except black because it expires bebore I can use it up. I get great photo copies with this ink and my printr. I have 2 photo printers and use the older one for general pictures I can use my memory card from. Not hookedup with computer.People I have given pictures to have said the pictures are really good and the color is really good. I never use outside company for my pictures any more.
