Even without the option of colors, my HP LaserJet P1006 printer is a vast improvement over the (other brand) ink-jet color printer I owned before it. Primarily, I can print with this one, and put the printout in my pocket on a hot sweaty – or even rainy – day, and the HP 35A toner will NOT run or smear on the paper, as that color ink did. And I have never had a problem with all the 35A cartridges I have gone thru over a number of years. Highly recommended.

I know that I could purchase less expensive toner cartridges for my trusty Laserjet P1006, but I always go back to HP. I get many months of flawless service from each cartridge. Also, I appreciate that I receive instructions on how to return the old one so that it can be handled in a way that will not harm the environment. What I do NOT appreciate is how difficult it can be to find this simple item on the HP web site. Why can’t I simply enter “Toner cartridge for HP LaserJet P1006”? I am submitting this review in exchange for a Sweepstakes entry, but the opinions are my own.
