Well, after reading the reviews I see I’m not the only one who feels these cartridges just don’t last AT ALL! I let the salesman tell me that I would get much better ink performance from my C4780 than my old 5500 that finally played out. NOT TRUE! My cartridges lasted much longer… I had that old 5500 many years wish it still worked.

Thank goodness I read these reviews! I had begun to think I couldn’t put a cartridge in right or something. As first I had a really hard time getting my printer to accept the cartridge, when I finally did get it in thought I had damaged it somehow as it only lasted a few days. The offending cartridge is the 60 black. Bad bad choice won’t buy this again. If you ever change the way it is made please let me know and I will give you another chance as this is the frist time I have been so sadly dissapointed in one of you products. Twilightelf

In the past two days I have put in two brand new HP 60 black ink cartridges in my C4780 printer. Documetation says it should print around 200 pges. The first one printed less than 100 normal text pages. I assumed I had a bad cartridge so went and bought another one. The same thing happened, less than 100 pages. At the price, this is a very poor investment. I guess I’ll go and try the 60XL. Documentation says around 600 pges. We’ll see if that is true. However, I would not waste my money on a normal HP 60 black ink cartridge if I were you.
